Save Operating Costs through the single-pipe design. This unique pipe-design ensures a minimized heat in leak to just one pipe and due to the integrated re-circulation-line for the LNG, the pipe keeps cool even in standby. The optimized thermal insulation layer (flexible solidified PUR foam)provides a ‘frost free’ pipe surface. These three characterisitcs are ensuring a reduced generation of BOG and so a minimized need for re-liquefaction.

A safe operation due to a very high quality product. FLEXWELL® All-in-One is produced in long ‘endless‘ lengths with all pipes and construction layers tested with complete accuracy in the BRUGG factory before shipping.

A safe operation through a long life is assured by the use of an inte-grated Leakage detection system. Two options:• The fiberoptic cable BRUsteel® offers the opportunity to detect a

possible leakage of carrier or outside pipe• The vacuum leakage detection system offers the chance to monitor

the pipe system continuously, detecting possible leakage and trans-mitting an alarm via the online leakage detection system.

Operating-Mode of FLEXWELL® All-in-One During operation the LNG is pumped through the 1 ½" carrier pipe and the interstitial space between medium and second 2 ½" pipe. The third corrugated pipe (3") is used as recovery line for the BOG, which is pumped back to the liquefaction unit.

Stand-by-mode of FLEXWELL® All-in-OneIf there is no need in pumping the LNG to a consumer, the pipe has to be cooled down, to prevent an uncontrolled evaporation of the LNG in case of starting operation. The interstitial space between the inner and the second pipe then can be used to circulate a little amount of LNG and keep the pipe cooled down to operating temperature. The BOG recovery line is inactive.

Bunker pipes or bunker hoses need to meet the requirements of their application and the medium LNG. Those pipes need to be flexible, insulated and secure.

BRUGG Pipesystems’ approach in having an excellent pipe without any issues regarding safety, duration and insulation is the FLEXWELL® LNG: A double walled safety pipe which consists of two corrugated stain-less steel pipes (SS 316 L), a flexible cryo-insulation and a protective polyethylene jacket on the outside.
