First completed in 1981, this extraordinary golf course was completely renovated by its original designer, Jack Nicklaus, in 2007. Every picturesque hole boasts a water view, be it ocean, river, or pond, with many holes providing views of all three surrounding bodies of water—the Atlantic Ocean, Indian River, and St. Lucie Inlet. Balmy Gulf Stream breezes ensure comfort and variety in every round.
From the Sailfish Point Clubhouse, play begins just steps from the practice area, where golfers use the short-game practice area to hone their skills, and then move to the driving range for a few practice swings before teeing up on the first hole. Five tee boxes at each hole allow players at every skill level to enjoy the course. Lush fairways move along the island to culminate in the par-4 signature 18th hole that has been dubbed “Window on the Sea” for its remarkable ocean view.
Four full-time teaching professionals readily assist golfers who wish to better their game. And a fully outfitted pro shop offers a full selection of golf equipment and gear. All of this and more make Sailfish Point one of the most desirable of all Florida oceanfront golf communities.
