Pump Module for Filling, PMF
PMF transfers ammonia solution from the road tanker to the storage tank for the SNCR system – or back from the storage tank to an emergency response vehicle. For this project a separate dual string filtering unit for mounting on the PMF outlet was supplied:
During filling of the storage tank, the displaced vapours are returned to the road tanker via a return flow pipe with the shown shut off valve. The proximity switch is used for interlocking.

Storage Tank for NH4OH
The storage tank for ammonia solution is a non-pressurised 100 m3 single walled, horizontal, stainless steel tank with provisions for returning displaced vapours to the road tanker during filling. The tank and auxiliary equipment will be protected against rain, sunlight and heat radiation from the kiln by means of a 3-walled building.

Pump Module for Reagent, PMR
Dual pump module on hot dip galvanised steel frame. Complete with motors, filters, non-return valves, shut off, isolation and drain valves, pressure gauges and internal cabling.

Electrical control cabinet
All electronic equipment required for the Pump Module for Filling, the Pump Module for Reagent (pressurising) and for the storage tank instrumentation are mounted in the above shown Rittal steel cabinet. The cabinet is dust- & water proof (IP65) and powder coated for corrosion protection.

Dosing & Distribution Module, DDM
Contains: - Pneumatic control
valve and flow transmitter for reagent
- Pneumatic shut off valve, needle valve and flow indicator for adjustment of flow to individual injectors
- NH3 gas sensor - Pressure gauges
and –transmitter - Shut off and drain
valves, non-return valve, strainer, air filter.
- PLC cabinet with touch screen HMI

Injection Modules, IM
Common strainers for air in dual string arrangement. Pressure reduction valve with pressure gauge for each injector. Module can be fed with low grade working air. The pressure transmitter is the only electronic component.

Injectors
High impulse, twin fluid, internal mix injectors with Camlok quick couplings for easy maintenance. Injectors are generally constructed from SS316, but have high temperature resistant tips. For this project 8 standard injectors for cement applications are used.

PLC Control System
The PLC – Simatic S7 - is mounted in a powder coated IP65 steel cabinet and has touch screen – Simatic MP 377 – interface built into the door of the cabinet. The PLC is well protected from dust and rain by the cabinet, and the touch screen interface is insensitive to water and dirt. In this project the PLC cabinet was mounted in the Dosing & Distribution Module for further protection against water, dust and unauthorised use.
