We have had a busy couple of weeks with trips, concerts and special festive performances and I know we all deserve a lovely break. So on behalf of the staff and the governors, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Christingle Service at Westminster Abbey: On Friday 1 st December 30 KS2 children braved the cold weather and travelled to Westminster Abbey to take part in the Christingle service. Each child received a Christingle and we spread our lights around the Abbey. The children were extremely well behaved and their behaviour and beautiful singing was commented on. Well done to all those who took part, you are a credit to TSM. Christmas Carol by Candlelight service: Thank you to all children, staff, parents and governors who came to our carol service. The children sang in classes to a range of traditional carols and were marvellous! We also enjoyed the hot chocolate and candy canes that were provided by the PTA. A big thank you to Father Robert and St Mary’s church for arranging the lit candles and a wonderful programme of lessons. The Christmas Grotto: Santa’s elves are hard at work building Santa’s Grotto in time for Santa’s arrival next week. We are waiting patiently to see what those busy elves have been up to. Next week, children will be visiting Santa in the grotto and receiving a special present

The Christmas Shop:A huge thank you to all those who have donated many items for our Christmas shop. The shop will be running on Thursday 14th December for all children so please give children money in an envelope with their name on as well as a list of who they can buy for. Items will be priced between 50p and £5. Children will need to bring a packed lunch as the kitchen will be closed.

Christmas Nativities:The Christmas performances have begun with a fantastic retelling of the Christmas story by our EYFS/KS1 children on Thursday and Friday. KS2 children will be performing on Tuesday 12th December and Wednesday 13th December. We look forward to seeing you there.

House Winners:Congratulations to St Patrick’s House for winning this terms house points. If your child is in this house then they are allowed to wear their own clothes on Monday 11th December.

Punctuality Winners:Congratulations to Jupiter class for winning the punctuality award. As the class with the lowest amount of late minutes, they will wear their own clothes on Thursday 14 th December. The numbers will be reset in January but remember that the numbers already accumulated will be sent to Wandsworth. Let’s all work together to make sure our children attend as much school as possible to ensure their bright futures.

We hope you have a lovely holiday and we look forward to seeing you on Tuesday 2 th January at 8:48am ready for the whistle!
