Literacy

Remember to practice the words of the week: like dad the not big him

Can you remember the story of that you listened to yesterday? Talk to your grown up about what you remember.

Can you write a few sentences about your favourite character in the story using this sentence structure.

I like the___________.It is ________and __________.

Phonics 

Play a phonics game with your grown up. Take it in turns to say these sounds:

Can you say them really slowly and then really fast?Now write them down as your grown up says the sound and then see if your

grown up can do the same.

Maths 

Practice counting along the number line to 20 and back again.

Write numbers to 20 on a piece of paperClose your eyes and point to a number from 0-20 Now carry on counting on to up 20If I pick the number 14 I need to count one.g 15 …16…17…18..19….20

If you can do this, now see if you can choose a number and count back to 0
