Classroom Set-upDigital Flagship provided ‘Lightning Digital AV’ adaptors to those who submitted a request

• We still needed to acquire our own HDMI cord to make it work

• Checked classrooms to ensure there was an HDMI port to connect to the projection system; some classrooms needed updated technology

• How will students share work/visual aids with the class?

Digital Flagship also provided wireless projection technology to a limited number of classrooms

• Neither of us received this technology; it was reserved for larger classrooms that would have a greater “reach” to students

• Earlier in the semester, students had to use Adobe Spark Post for an in-class activity – creating a visual for the difference between high school and college

• For both assignments, students posted Spark Post to a Discussion Board in Carmen

• Students like to use the Carmen calendar function, and if deadlines aren’t inputted to Carmen, they may miss an assignment

• Considering forced use of iPad instead of allowing other devices so that there is less confusion between devices

“Note-taking is really easy thanks to the iPad,

especially in lectures.”

some online class programs do not work.
