EVERYONE IS WELCOMEWe provide tours and tournaments for boys', girls', mens' and womens' football teams from seven years old all the way through to veterans. Everyone is welcome on our tours!

TOURNAMENTS OR FRIENDLY MATCHES ARRANGED FOR YOUR TEAMYou can choose to enter one of the many tournaments available both here in the UK or Europe, or alternatively we can arrange friendly fixtures if you prefer. Tournaments typically take place during the holiday periods towards the end of the season. Friendly fixtures can be arranged at most times of the year. Be assured that all our matches and tournaments are fully sanctioned by the relevant Football Association and arranged through UEFA Licensed Match Agents.

WHILST ON TOURDepending on your fixtures, we can arrange excursions for your team. These can include football stadiums, theme parks, water parks or local cities. All the holiday parks we use have on-site facilities often including swimming pools, sports facilities, entertainment, bars, restaurants and more.

GIRLS AND LADIES FOOTBALLWe have been organising football tours & tournaments for over 30 years across the UK and Europe. In 2020, we are hosting our first girls only tournament at Selsey which will be a memorable event, along with a girls tournament at Blackpool. The best tournaments in Europe can be found in Holland, Spain and Italy.

Since 1989 we’ve been using our years of experience to organise and manage fantastic sporting events around the UK, as well as valuable opportunities for teams to play competitive fixtures abroad. Last season over 600 teams travelled with us to 15 UK events and destinations abroad from Belgium to Argentina!

As a team of passionate sports enthusiasts, our goal at Sports Tours is to provide the very best touring experience available to sports teams. Each year we look to better ourselves, ensuring that we remain at the top of our game – and this year’s no different!

Groups travelling in the UK will qualify for free places based on our early booking incentives, where groups travelling to one of our European destinations may also qualify for additional free places (subject to their group size). INFANTS GO FREE!Children under three years of age travel free, providing that no provision is made for them. On UK holidays it is always wise to bring your own cot, otherwise charges may apply.Most European holiday villages supply cots free of charge, but it is advisable to take bedding. Insurance is not necessary for infants who are automatically covered by their parents’ premium.

THE SPORTS TOURS TEAMYou will find the commitment, knowledge and friendliness of our staff to be second to none. From your initial enquiry right through to your return, you will be thoroughly looked after and guided through the tour experience. During our Easter, May Day and Whitsun events, we employ around 250 people to assist our customers and support our events. No company provides a more efficient, personal and professional service than Sports Tours.

WE ARE HERE TO ASSIST YOUOur friendly reservations team have many years' experience assisting group leaders through the booking process and are available from 9am to 7pm during the peak season.

24/7 EMERGENCY SUPPORT/ RESORT ASSISTANCEAll of our UK tournaments have a senior member of event staff. We also have an Emergency Contact Number manned 24 hours a day to assist you in the event of an emergency while on tour.

2 EASY STEPS TO BOOK 1. Pay an initial deposit of £295 to reserve your team's place in the tournament. Arrange for your club members to pay their deposits of £35 per person (UK Tours) or £50 per person (European Tours). Deposits for £35pp are due four weeks after the initial £295 deposit. Once received we will send you your invoice and confirmation of tour arrangements.

2. The final balance is then due 10 weeks prior to your departure date. You and your club members can then login to www.sportstourspay.co.uk and pay the remaining balance online. Once full payment has been received, your final tour documents will be available 7 to 14 days prior to your departure.

UK TOURNAMENTSOur UK tournaments are typically 3 night stays with 2 days of football. Please read the sample itinerary below to give you an idea of how our weekends go.

DAY 1: Groups will be able to arrive at the resort from midday onwards and you will be able to check into your accommodation units from 4pm onwards. Early evening there will be a welcome meeting / help desk for all Group Leaders and Team Managers, the rest of the evening will be for you to spend at leisure. We do arrange for the holiday park to provide a varied entertainment programme throughout your stay.

DAY 2: The morning sessions of the competition take place and typically start from 9am, however these can vary depending on the exact structure of the tournament. You may also use any free time during your stay to visit local attractions. Once again the staff at the holiday park will provide evening entertainment.

DAY 3: Continuation of the group matches. Typically the presentation evening will take place back at your holiday park during the final evening where every participant will receive an award from our famous football celebrity.

DAY 4: All groups to vacate their accommodation and depart by 10am.

We invite famous football personalities to present awards to each player on a personal basis. All participants will receive a high-quality participation trophy and have a great photo opportunity as a lasting memory of an unforgettable weekend. In addition, the winners and runners-up of each age group will receive our magnificent, exclusive trophies. There are also Fair Play awards for one team from each age group based on the sportsmanship of the players and supporters of each team.Our presentations take place on the Sunday of your tour and the awards are presented by famous football personalities.

The Isle of Wight sits just a short ferry crossing over the Solent from the South Coast of England and has been enjoyed as a football tournament destination for 38 years. With 57 miles of coastline you can easily spend hours exploring the island including the Needles, Sandown Pier and the Blackgang Chine Amusement Park.

THE ISLE OF WIGHT JUNIOR FOOTBALL TOURNAMENTThis is officially the longest running football tournament in the UK and attracts Under 7 to Under 14 teams from all over the country. The event is held at Seaclose Sports Ground and each team will play up to 10 matches over the course of the weekend. THE SAVOY HOTELThe Savoy Hotel is a popular and intimate Blackpool hotel located on the North Shore. It is close to many of Blackpool’s famous attractions and sits overlooking the beach. The Savoy features the Albany Bar serving drinks throughout the day and the Gilberts Restaurant, serving breakfast and dinner with delicious dishes to suit all tastes. This season’s events will take place at Fleetwood Town’s brand new training facility, which was recently opened by Sir Alex Ferguson. BLACKPOOL INTERNATIONAL CUPOur tournaments will take place at Fleetwood Town FC's training facility, which is a 35 acre complex comprising of over 15 grass and 4G pitches. THE SOMERSET TROPHYThe Somerset Trophy will take place at Hutton Moor Sports Centre in Weston-Super-Mare for teams aged under 7 to under 13 from England, Wales, Scotland and Europe. The Sports Centre is a large facility with 12 mini, youth and full size football pitches, plus a very good cafe where you can purchase breakfast or lunch prior to your games. Teams will play up to five games per day.

For 2020, the tournament venues are held at Marsh Academy and New Romney – they are both great playing facilities and are also within walking distance of one another. PONTINS CAMBER SANDS HOLIDAY CENTREWhilst it may be basic, Pontins Camber Sands Holiday Park offers a good, unique base for families who don’t mind leaving out the luxuries (more money in your pocket, right?). Your team can choose to play friendly fixtures or take part in an international football tournament, but at most locations you can do both! If you choose to travel by coach, we will collect you from your home town and take you to your chosen resort. For flight travel we will meet you at your European airport and transfer you to your accommodation.

WHERE TO STAYWe have a fabulous selection of resorts based in coastal, countryside, lakeside and city centre locations. Accommodation at all our resorts is first-class – all bungalows are fully furnished, and all hotel rooms have en-suite facilities. Some resorts are suitable for families and youth groups, while others are better for adult groups. FIXTURE ARRANGEMENTSTwo fixture arrangements (per booking) are included in the tour cost. Should you require additional fixtures, these can be arranged at an additional cost. The additional costs are charged by our UEFA Licensed Match Agents which could include pitch hire, referees and other expenses.

STANDARD OF TEAMSOur match agents have over 30 years of experience arranging matches overseas and will arrange fixtures against opponents of the appropriate standard. Please be aware that European qualifying birth dates are different than those teams based in England and Wales.

EUROPEAN QUALIFYING AGES & GROUPSThe qualifying ages and playing formats differ between European countries in line with the different Football Associations. Please send us the dates of births of your players and we will ensure your team is entered into the correct age category.

FRIENDLY MATCHESMany teams prefer to play friendly matches whilst on tour and this can be arranged at all our destinations at most times of the year. Playing friendly matches allows your team more free time at the resort to enjoy visits to football stadiums and theme parks.

PLAY FOOTBALL IN MULTIPLECOUNTRIESSome of our European resorts are located a short distance from neighbouring countries. Therefore, your team can play football in two or three different countries including Holland, Germany & Belgium.

FIXTURES & TOURNAMENTSYour team can gain so much experience by playing football against teams from Europe. For this season, we expect to hear of more than 100 tournaments taking place. The major benefit with a Sports Tours holiday is that you choose how much football you want to play. The bonus for your team is experiencing the differing styles of play and skills.

ONE DAY TOURNAMENTSWe can arrange for your team to participate in two separate one day tournaments, thereby giving your team plenty of football during your stay at different sports grounds. A different club hosts each tournament and this will give your players a wonderful experience of playing a completely different range of teams on both days.

TWO DAY TOURNAMENTSWe have a selection of large two day events taking place in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany. These events take place during a weekend and have attracted up to 32 teams per age group. At some of these tournaments, you may be expected to be at the venues for most of the day. Should you wish to visit football stadiums or theme parks, we recommend a four night stay at your resort, which will leave you a free day for excursions.

TOURNAMENT RULESTournaments are played according to FIFA and UEFA host country’s football association rules and regulations. Occasionally, tournament organisers may introduce additional rules with permission from their Football Association. We have no jurisdiction with European tournament rules.

THREE, FOUR & FIVE DAY TOURNAMENTSThese are usually large events, which would normally take place in Spain, Italy, Croatia, Denmark and Sweden. Most of these tournaments have opening and closing ceremonies and the games are spread over three or four days with teams normally playing one or two games per day.

On arrival we will collect you by coach and transfer you to your accommodation.

CHANNEL CROSSINGOur price includes travel by ferry from Dover to Calais or Dunkirk, which takes just 90 minutes with P&O Ferries or DFDS Seaways. ALTERNATIVE SEA CROSSINGOur standard ferry crossing is the Dover to Calais route, but we do offer alternative crossings on the following routes:

WITH COACHWe will collect you from your club or hometown and transfer you to the port of departure in the UK. The coach then travels aboard the ferry and stays with you throughout the duration of your tour.

FOOT PASSENGER Make your own way to your UK port of departure and meet your group members at the departure lounge before boarding the ferry one hour prior to sailing. Your coach will meet you at your European arrival port and transfer you directly to your chosen resort. Transfers will also be arranged for fixtures.Please note. *During Easter & Whitsun sailings, meals must be purchased on the Newcastle sailings - please add £59.95 per adult and £34.95 per child aged between 4-11 years to the above price. PHANTASIALANDPhantasialand is one of Europe’s top entertainment & leisure theme parks and is situated near Cologne. This tournament is run in one year age groups, which is a benefit to UK teams and makes it a very popular tournament so if you are interested book early!

To confirm, you’ll be required to pay £35 per person for UK tours, £50 per person for EU tours or £150 per person for EU flight tours (remainder of the flight balance due 2 weeks after booking).

STEP 3Once confirmed, make a note of your final balance payment date. This will be due 10 weeks from your departure date and will be advised in your confirmation document, to be sent to you on full receipt of your full first deposit amount.

We have arranged with Global Travel Insurance Services Ltd a holiday insurance policy specially designed with our holidays in mind. If you have a history of any medical condition and are travelling to Area 2, you must call MediScreen on the following telephone number prior to the start of any trip in order to establish whether we can provide cover for you. MediScreen’s office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. Telephone MediScreen on 0344 892 1698 If you are then accepted, you will be covered by the following Special Conditions as a minimum but may be subject to further terms and conditions which will be sent to you in writing. This policy is only available to residents of the United Kingdom. The definition of residents of the United Kingdom is any person who is staying in or has lived in the United Kingdom for more than 12-months, or if studying or working in the United Kingdom for more than 6-months. SIGNIFICANT OR UNUSUAL LIMITATIONS OR WHAT IS NOT COVERED1. Cover is only available for the whole duration of a booked trip to a maximum 70-consecutive days and

cover cannot be purchased once a trip has already begun.2. The excess amount deductible from a claim applies to each and every claim, per incident claimed for,

under certain sections by each insured person. 3. If your money, valuables, any items of baggage, your passport or visa are lost or stolen, you must notify

the local police within 24-hours of discovery or as soon as possible thereafter. Please make sure you get a copy of the police report. Failure to comply may result in your claim being rejected or the amount of any relevant claim reduced.

4. You are not covered for valuables, your passport or visa if left unattended at any time (including in a vehicle, in checked in luggage or while in the custody of a carrier, tour operator or public transport operator) unless deposited in a hotel safe, safety deposit box or left in your locked accommodation.

5. Stolen property: You are not covered for baggage stolen from:a) an unattended coach/bus unless it was locked in the luggage compartment of the coach/bus and evidence

of force or violent entry to the vehicle is available, orb) the passenger compartment of any unattended vehicle.

RESIDENCYThe cover under this policy is only available to United Kingdom residents being defined as: Any person who is staying in or has lived in the United Kingdom for more than 12 months, or if studying or working in the United Kingdom for more than 6 months.

HEALTH CONDITIONSYou must be able to comply with the following conditions to have the full protection of your policy. If you do not comply we may refuse to deal with any relevant claim or reduce the amount of any relevant claim payment. If you are travelling within the United Kingdom you are not required to declare your medical conditions. However, to be covered for any medical conditions you have or have had, you must be able to answer NO to questions 1. to 4. and YES to questions 5. and 6. a) and b) below: 1. Are you aware of any reason why the trip could be cancelled or cut short

(such as the health of a close relative) 2. Are you travelling: a) against the advice of a medical practitioner, orb) for the purpose of obtaining medical treatment. 3. Have you been given a terminal prognosis. 4. Are you receiving or awaiting treatment for any bodily injury, illness or disease as a hospital day case or

in-patient.5. If you are on prescribed medication, are your medical condition(s) stable and well controlled. 6. If you suffer from stress, anxiety, depression or any other mental or nervous disorder, have you received

written confirmation (at your cost) that you are fit enough to take this trip by either:a) a registered mental health professional (if you are under the care of a Community Mental Health Team), or b) a consultant specialising in the relevant field.If you are travelling outside of the United Kingdom you must telephone Towergate Medical Line on 0344 892

1698 if anyone to be covered by this policy, or any person upon whose health the trip depends:1. Has or has had a medical condition (excluding childhood and minor ailments not requiring treatment).2. Is taking prescribed medication.3. Has or has had any medical condition still requiring periodic review.4. Is awaiting any tests, treatment, investigation, referral or the results of these.Towergate Medical office hours are 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday excluding Bank Holidays. You must notify Towergate Medical immediately of any changes in medical circumstances arising between the date the policy is issued and the time of departure for the trip. Examples of these and other conditions and exclusions are contained within the policy wording, a specimen copy of which is available upon request. If after purchasing a policy from us should you find it does not meet your requirements, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of the policy documents to cancel the policy and receive a full refund of your premium if your tour has not taken place. NOTES & PRICE INFORMATION: UK TOURNAMENTS• It is a condition of entering our tournaments, that everyone within your group must book their

accommodation arrangements through Sports Tours (please refer to our booking conditions - page 63 for more information). Accommodation is in apartments, chalets, bungalows and holiday homes. The tour description tells you what to expect and the maximum sleeping capacity (‘berths’) of the accommodation unit.

• Children under 21 may only occupy self-contained units if accompanied by at least one adult.• A typical 6-berth unit consists of two bedrooms, a lounge/dining area (with a convertible double sofa bed),

kitchenette (see below) and a shower with WC.• An 8-berth unit is the same as above and usually has one additional bedroom.• Most units contain at least one double bed. If you require these beds for single occupancy, you must inform

us when booking as an under-occupancy supplement will apply.• All our holiday homes have kitchenettes (except Pakefield). They are designed for cooking simple or light

meals. Typically, kitchenettes have a two-ring gas or electric hob, sink unit and a fridge. An adequate though limited range of pots, pans, cutlery and other utensils are supplied. If any items are worn, missing or damaged, please notify reception whose responsibility it is to replace them.

• On check-in, you may be asked to sign an inventory listing the items supplied. This may be checked on your departure and you will have to pay for missing or damaged items. It is in your own interests therefore to check the list carefully on arrival before signing it and to report any missing or damaged items immediately.

• Electricity is included in the price of your apartment or holiday home at most of our holiday centres. If you are staying in Classic or Popular apartments at Camber Sands and Southport tokens need to be purchased to acquire electricity.

• Electricity cards must be purchased for all accommodation at Hemsby Beach Holiday Centre.• All holiday centres include bed linen but NOT towels.• Club passes included. Tournaments are usually played at a different location to the Holiday Centre and you

are expected to make your own transport arrangements.

TOURNAMENT VENUES• For reasons outside our direct control, the tournament venues mentioned in our brochure & website can

change at anytime prior to the start of our events. As group leader, you must ensure that everyone in your group has transport available to get to the tournament venues should they change.

FACILITIES AVAILABLE• There will be a moderate charge for most sports, leisure and other facilities. Opening times and dates vary

between each resort and some facilities may not be available at certain times.

LUGGAGE• Everyone is responsible for getting his or her own luggage from the car or coach to your accommodation.

REGISTRATION FEES• All teams must pay a registration fee to enter our tournaments.

WHAT YOUR UK TOUR PRICE INCLUDES• Accommodation from 16:00hrs on the day of arrival until 10:00hrs on the day of departure for the number

of nights specified. Use of swimming pool at holiday village plus free facilities as specified. There may be a small charge (pay locally) for use of other facilities.

EMPTY BEDS• All our tour prices are based on full occupancy of accommodation. Supplement applies for unused beds.

SECURITY DEPOSIT• All our UK Holiday Centres may require groups to pay a security deposit. This amount will be included in

your final invoice and will be refunded two weeks from the competition of your holiday (providing your accommodation and fittings remain in the same condition as when you arrived).

UNDER 15’S & 16’S TEAMS. The following conditions will apply• An equal number of adults to children must apply.• No all male/female parties. MUST BE FAMILY GROUPS.

TOURNAMENT REGULATIONSEach of the tournaments that we organise has their own regulations, which are available on request. You accept these conditions when making a booking with Sports Tours Ltd.

COMBINED AGE GROUPSThe tournament committee can decide in the event that we do not have enough teams in a particular age group, we reserve the right to combine two age groups together to increase the number of teams in one of the age groups.

PROOF OF AGE – PLAYERSThe Manager of each team must have available the correct identity and age of each of his players. The form of identity must be one of the following:1. The Official League Identification Card, which must show a colour photograph of the player.2. A photograph of the player’s passport.3. Photocopy of a birth certificate.In the event that you are unable to produce any of the above ID and the age of the player is in dispute, that player will not be able to continue in the tournament. If the Tournament Committee is of the opinion that your team has taken an unfair disadvantage, your team could be disqualified from the event.

EUROPEAN TOURS

• Accommodation at our holiday parks is either bungalows, villas or mobile/comfort homes. The tour description tells you the maximum sleeping capacity (‘berths’) of each unit.

• Children under 18 may only occupy self-contained units if accompanied by at least one adult who is over 25 years of age.

• 4-berth units consist of two bedrooms, lounge/dining area, kitchenette (see below) and shower/WC.• 6-berth units consist of three bedrooms, lounge/dining area, kitchenette (see below) and two separate

shower/WC’s.• 7/8-berth units consist of four bedrooms, a lounge/dining area, kitchenette (see below) and two separate

shower/WC’s. At Riviera Beach, Prinsenmeer, Het Heijderbos, Zandvoort 6 berth comfort home consist of 2 bedrooms and a convertible sofa-bed in the lounge, 8 berth have 1 additional bedroom.

• Most units contain at least one double bed. If you require these beds for single occupancy, you must inform us when booking as an under-occupancy supplement will apply.

GROUPS CONSISTING OF 49 PLUS PERSONS• Once your arrangements are confirmed, we will then book your coach for the actual number of persons

indicated. Should your numbers decrease at a later date, cancellation charges will be incurred and if we are unable to alter your vehicle type, additional empty seat supplements will apply.

LUGGAGE• Everyone is responsible for getting his or her own luggage from the car or coach to your accommodation. • Airlines impose a limit on the amount of luggage they will allow each passenger to carry. This limit will be

shown on your tickets. There are also certain restrictions on the items that can be carried as hand luggage/hold luggage. Please ask at the time of booking or contact the airline direct for further details.

TRAVELLING BY COACH, WHAT YOUR PRICE INCLUDES• Prices are based on group size of 40 or more with full accommodation occupancy.• Return coach travel from your one central pick-up point in England or Wales to your resort.• Use of the coach in resort for transport to/from your fixtures Optional stadium visit or excursion (excludes

entry fees) by coach up to 60 miles round trip. (Subject to driver’s permissible working hours). • Our double decker executive coaches seat groups from 50 to 74 persons. These coaches will be subject to

a supplement if full seating capacity is not achieved. On some occasions, two 49 seater executive vehicles may be used and empty seat supplements do also apply should less than 40 persons travel on each vehicle.

• Return ferry crossing via Dover/Calais. Other routes are available at a supplement.• Accommodation in resort from 15:00hrs on the day of arrival until 10:00hrs on the day of departure for the
