Nazareth College Film Scoring Camp 2016Rochester, NYJuly 18-22, 2016

Jack Allocco is a nine-time Emmy Award winning composer, having written for shows including “The Young and The Restless” and “The Bold and The Beautiful.”

Philip Klein (www.philipkleinmusic.com) has written for film and television projects for Sony, Disney, ABC, and CBS.  He most recently wrote and orchestrated music for “The Finest Hours.”

Octavio Vazquez (www.octaviov.com) is a Nazareth composition and theory professor who has recorded music on several labels. He has written for film, and his music has been performed widely in Europe and the United States.

Nancy Strelau, member of the Nazareth faculty, has music published by Warner Brothers and Southern Music. She writes a wide variety of music that is educationally-based and targeted toward younger artists.

Application FormThe Nazareth College Film Scoring Camp is limited to 15 high school and/or college students (students who have completed 9th through 12th grade, any level of college music experience). Students applying to this program should have at least a minimal working knowledge of basic music theory and some experience in performing music.

Once your application is submitted, you will receive an email verifying that your application has been received and you will be given a date by which you will find out if you have been accepted to the camp. If accepted, you can then submit a non-refundable $100 deposit to secure your place. Applications will be considered in the order in which they are received.

Cost of the camp is $400.
