Homework Policy
• Homework assignments to be made known to pupils and subject teachers
• School work comes first.
• Special consideration for pupils with external commitments e.g. competitions and medical reasons
Quality
Pupils should…
• record the homework for the various subjects in the handbook daily
• get seat partners to check homework notes made in the handbook
• attempt all the given questions to the best of their abilities

• display clear and neat handwriting
• check all the written work at least twice to reduce the number of mistakes made due to carelessness
• date all their work

How Parents Can Help
Classroom Routines
Things to bring every day
• Pupil’s handbook
• Homework folder (store homework, forms
and payment)
• Stationery (including a whiteboard marker)
• Mondays and Tuesdays, 2.15pm – 4.15pm.
Consent forms will be issued termly.
• Pupils will spend 1 hour in guided supplementary for each core subject.
• Parents to adjust home tuition time if applicable
• Homework will be given almost daily
