Effective Measure is a leading provider of digital audience, brand, and advertising effectiveness measurement and targeting solutions, with a global footprint that services ANZ clients including Australia Post, Roy Morgan, and Mamamia. It also has relationships with over 60 online publishers including Yahoo!7, The Economist and Groupon Australia. The Australia and New Zealand assets of Effective Measure are highly complementary to PPL’s current big data and programmatic media offerings. As well, they strengthen the group’s client base and significantly broaden the media platforms, including over 100 websites, from which consumer behaviour can be sourced. The Assets consist of Effective Measure’s existing client and publisher contracts as well as its online panel members and inventory of anonymous consumer behavioural data. Under a separate engagement with Pureprofile, Effective Measure will develop an optimised data collection and storage technology to accelerate Pureprofile’s publisher and programmatic media offering. Combining large volumes of data sourced from a broader range of publisher sites and a more robust technology platform, Pureprofile will be able to create more nuanced insights and accurate programmatic media targeting. services. As part of PPL’s larger business, Effective Measure offers very near term organic revenue growth opportunities which we are well placed to capture.

“This acquisition allows us to accelerate our market-leading and technology-driven offering, and deliver products that benefit consumers and publishers by providing them with a deeper, richer data insights experience.”

Graham Plant, CEO of Effective Measure said: “With Effective Measure’s future focus primarily on the Middle East and African markets where it is the established leader in audience measurement, it made perfect sense to sell the Effective Measure Oceania assets to Pureprofile.

Pureprofile has acquired the assets of Effective Measure only without incurring staffing, office or other overhead costs.
