Pedestrian Overpass - Under Construction
STATE ROAD 50 PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS BRIDGEThe City of Orlando is committed to providing a safe, comfortable, and connected pedestrian system. As part of this City priority, a pedestrian overpass is scheduled to be built across West Colonial Drive to connect Gertrude’s Walk to the Orlando Urban Trail (Dinky Line). This walkway will make it easier for pedestrians to cross West Colonial Drive, one of Orlando’s busiest roadways. It will connect residents and visitors to Orlando’s various neighborhoods, business districts, SunRail transit system, and much more. Once complete, this walkway will be a key piece in keeping Orlando an interconnected, pedestrian safe city.
