Page 1: For The Winn

I wanted to create a simple magazine that was able to bold but also understated. I used varsity font that was in black and white but also used a red font so that I could inject some colour. I placed minimalistic text on the page so as not to cover up the main images to much. The images are simple but also fun.

I made my contents page bold and full so that the eye catching. I have quotes from fictional fashion designers and musicians' with key words highlighted in red so that they would leap out. The pictures are placed so that all space is filled and no white space is left. The page numbers are also in red so that the can be seen among the pages. The red makes the text easier to read and makes the page look a little more interesting.

This page again has red text as red is a recurring theme in my magazine. There are two columns of text with a band picture and taglines ‘Love haters hate lovers’. There are two pictures of the band members with a colour background. I used varsity text again as a way to tie the magazine together.
