RIASEC Interest Inventory crosswalked to Hawaii s 6 Career Pathways Handbooks and other promotional material Career Counseling for Students Developed a framework Created standards that meet local business and industry needs In-serviced our teachers so that they can implement the standards Designed an innovative assessment system Counseled our students Our CTE house is near completion Our CTE house deserves a few special features for its outside appearance. We know our standards are high and the assessments are difficult. Students who do especially well in our CTE programs deserve the following: CTE Certificates of Proficiency CTE Recognition Diplomas Special Recognition Dual Credit Articulated Programs of Study (DCAPS) Guidelines and Procedures Dual Credits They connect our secondary-level CTE to postsecondary-level CTE. All of our dual credit agreements are statewide and the postsecondary credits must be for a CTE course or courses required in a CTE program of study. They are 100 level and above credits. Students become eligible for these credits by completing CTE courses at their high school and taught by high school teachers.
