• The multifunctional sports and recreation venue "Arena Riga" is one of the largest and most significant construction projects launched after Latvia regained its independence.

• With up to 12 500 seats for visitors, modern technical equipment and a high quality service it has become a link within the network of the largest European multifunctional arenas, and a part of the show-business route as well.

• Arena opens doors to shows and sports popular all over the world – this was impossible before due to the lack of appropriate facilities.

• The project is carried out by the construction company “Merks” Ltd. in cooperation with the Riga City Council.
