For Advanced Beginners andExperienced Skiers.More rolling and hilly. Longer andsteeper slopes than "easiest" trails. May be necessary to "herringbone" on short steep slopes.

For Vigorous, Experienced SkiersWho Seek a Challenge.Quite hilly. Usually part of longer loops.Longer and steeper slopes than "moredifficult" trails. Often necessary to"herringbone" and/or sidestep.

For Reassurance that you are on aski trail.Arrows may be used on these markersto indicate the established skiingdirection on 1-way trails.

Be Alert Reduce Speed.Signals steep hills, road crossings, etc.Watch for approaching skiers orvehicles.
