FOREWORD
I am very pleased to see that the Volume 27, Number 2 of IJCIM includes selected papers
as proof of our ongoing commitment to serve the community of researchers. We will continue to
collaborate to making our journal better. Please carefully look at guidelines about paper format at
www.ijcim.th.org and send your papers on topics of current interest in computer sciences, Internet
technologies and management for the upcoming issues to me ([email protected]). I will
get your paper reviewed by experts in your field. If the initial response is favorable, I will request
you to submit your camera-ready final paper as soon as possible for publication in the next edition
of IJCIM.
The first paper titled “Implementation of Des Algorithm in Python” is written by Sakshi
Agarwal, P K Bharti, and Rajesh Kumar Pathak from India. This paper was overviewed the
implementation of DES algorithm in python language, by underlying ideas and common
techniques without going into too many details on each topic. And this paper also illustrated
Comparative study between implementation of DES algorithm in Python language and Java
language.
The second paper titled “Architecture of OERs-MS: the System of Open Educational
Practices” is written by Phantipa Amornrit, Jaitip Na-Songkhla, and Panita Wannapiroon
from Thailand. This paper aimed to propose the technological structure of an Open Education
Resources Management System (OERs-MS), and to study the expert’s opinions on the OERs-MS
developed, by dividing the study into 5 stages include analysis and synthesis of documents related
to development of OERs-MS, design of the technological structure and architecture of the system,
system development, implementation, and study the expert’s opinions of the OERs-MS by 8
specialists in related fields.
The third paper titled “The Export Firms’ Capability and International Market Turbulent
that Affect Firms’ Export Innovation through Market Orientation” is written by Sudaporn
Kuntonbutr from Thailand, Howard Combs from USA, and Manfred Kulken from
Germany. This paper examined the export firms’ capability that affects international market
performance in relation with the market orientation and firms’ innovation for foreign market, as
well as to examine international market turbulent, and the purpose was to uncover how export
firms can overcome the foreign market by their operation.
The fourth paper titled “Tasks Processing Allocation Based on Memory Usage Performance
(TPA-MUP)” is written by Amnat Sawatnatee and Somchai Prakancharoen from Thailand.
This paper done to design a scheduler of task allocation time of simultaneous running two
independence majority tasks, and objective of task allocation scheduler was to minimize two tasks
memory usage while they were both processing.
The fifth paper titled “A Causal Relationship Model of Business Performance Sustainable
Supply Chain Management of Electronics Industry in Thailand” is written by Chetphanat
Leelasrisiri, Tharinee Manisri, and Subin Yurarach from Thailand. This paper consists of
three main objectives include to develop and validate the causal model displaying the effect of
causal factors on Business Performance Sustainable Supply Chain Management of Electronics
Industry in Thailand, to study the effect sizes of Operational efficiency in the causal model of
Business Performance Sustainable Supply Chain Management of Electronics Industry in
Thailand, and to guidelines for strategic planning of Electronics Industry in Thailand by
conducting through 400 private entrepreneurs randomly selected.

The sixth paper titled “Development of Data Quality Framework for Linked Data Readiness
Assessment of Thailand Open Government Data” is written by Phimphan Thipphayasaeng,
Marut Buranarach, and Poonpong Boonbrahm from Thailand. This paper proposed an
assessment model for measuring semantic and linkable potential of open data to support an
improvement towards Linked open data readiness, and the model was designed to use content
statistics of data for calculating score to represent difference of data potential for linking in range
of 0 to 1.
The seventh paper titled “Molecular Marker Discovery for Ovarian Maturation Level of the
Black Tiger Shrimp from Microarray Data Using Genetic Algorithm” is written by Supoj
Hengpraprohm, Suwimol Jungjit, Kairung Hengpraprohm, and Dech Thammasiri from
Thailand. This paper done to propose an embedded-based gene selection method in the black
tiger shrimp microarray dataset using Genetic Algorithm (GA), and analyzed the effect of selected
genes for ovarian maturation level in the term of biological perspective by conducting experiment
on 6 black tiger shrimp microarray datasets which were publically available.
The eighth paper titled “Learning Management Knowledge Based on Constructivist
Approach and Metacognitive Approach for Metacognition Development” is written by Natarika
Thongsomnuek, Thiyaporn Kantathanawat, and Paitoon Pimdee from Thailand. This paper
done to synthesize learning management knowledge based on constructivist approach and
metacognitive approach for metacognition development, and documentary research method was
implemented to systematically analyze, synthesize, and link all information from various
documents and literature reviews.
The ninth paper titled “Individual Green IT Readiness: Qualitative Approach” is written by
Pakvalit Kurkoon, Daranee Pimchangthong, and Veera Boonjing from Thailand. This paper
aimed to investigate the factors that drive consumers to be participated with a green IT product,
and qualitative approach was applied to screen, analyse and categorize the information, also this
paper investigated the relationship between green IT products, attitude toward sustainable
agriculture, perceived business expression, personal social responsibility, perceived government
encouragement and individual g-readiness.
The tenth paper titled “The Finding Efficiency of the Training Set: Controlling Electric
Traffic Lights via the IoT System” is written by Pinitnai Sittithai, Songkran Parakul, and
Prasongsuk Songsree from Thailand. This paper aimed to study the efficiency of the training
set of programs control on peripheral devices and interruptions by applying the IoT system, and
for using in the teaching and learning of embedded system subjects for the graduate technology
curriculums, the major of electrical technology and automatic control systems, in the year of 2016
at Siam Technology College.
The eleventh paper titled “The Application of Monte Carlo Simulation for Inventory
Management: a Case Study of a Retail Store” is written by Sudawan Leepaitoon and Chayut
Bunterngchit from Thailand. This paper aimed to find economic order quantity and reorder
point of the inventory in a retail store under the uncertainty of lead time and demand by applying
the Monte Carlo Simulation to determine the purchase order policy with the selected best sales
goods. Due to the fact that from the past, the store manager purchased a large amount of inventory
to fulfill the customer demand without the appropriate techniques, which led to over-inventory.
The store had lost more than THB 1 Million per year from the excess inventory.
The twelfth paper titled “Development of ICT Competency Domains for Undergraduate
Students in Thailand” is written by Thamasan Suwanroj, Punnee Leekitchwatana, Paitoon
Pimdee, Thiyaporn Kantathanawat, and Thanongsak Sovajassatakul from Thailand. This
paper aimed to develop necessary competency domains on information and communication
technology (ICT) for undergraduate students in Thailand by using questionnaires and focus group
discussion as data collection, and the qualitative analysis was conducted with 2 steps include to

explore the experts' opinions on the competency domains, and to hold a group discussion of
experts to approve the domains.
The thirteenth paper titled “Relationships between Core Competencies and Working
Efficiency: Case Study the L.P.N. Development Public Company Limited” is written by Fareeda
Ma, Ali Sempher, and Watcharaporn Klinpu from Thailand. This paper aimed to study the
core competencies of personnel achievement ability, good service, accumulation of expertise in
careers, adherence to morality and ethics, as well as teamwork the relationships between core
competency focus and working efficiency of supporting staffs was studied the L.P.N.
Development Public Company Limited.
The fourteenth paper titled “The Mediating Role of Dynamic Capabilities on Innovativeness
and Export Performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in Thailand” is written by Oranoodj
Ruepitiviriya and Duangporn Puttawong from Thailand. This paper was done to observe the
effects of Innovativeness on Export Performance of Thai SMEs which based on the literature
review. It was possible to describe Direct and Indirect the Effects of Innovativeness (INNO) on
Export Performance (EP) through Dynamic Capabilities (DC) as Mediating variable.
The fifteenth paper titled “Synthesis of Indicators of Scientific Literacy Components for
Junior High School Students: Via Online System” is written by Chayada Jomtarak, Peerawut
Suwanjan, Phadungchai Pupat, and Lertlak Klinhom from Thailand. This paper was done to
synthesize indicators of scientific literacy components for junior high school students: via online
system, related documents and research studies associated with indicators of scientific literacy
components were used as source of data, and the instrument used for collecting data was
document record forms, while Content analysis technique was employed to analyze data.
The sixteenth paper titled “The Effect of Using Artificial Intelligence in Determining
Marketing Strategies for Industries in Thailand” is written by Catthaleeya Rerkpichai, Pisit
Chumnanna, and Wanchai Machutrakull from Thailand. This paper was done to identify the
effect of using artificial intelligence in determining marketing strategies for industries in Thailand,
and the Population consisted of (65) marketing managers of the companies incorporated in the
study, and the existence effect of using artificial intelligence in determining marketing strategies
(cost leadership, differentiation, focus, alliance, diversification and direct marketing) was
reviewed.
The seventeenth paper titled “Synthesis and Evaluation of the Research Competencies” is
written by Pradit Songsangyos and Pallop Piriyasuriwong from Thailand. This paper done to
study the research processes then lead to the research competencies of professors in higher
education institutions, by dividing into three steps include to survey from relevant documents and
previous researches, to synthesis the research competencies, and to evaluate the research
competencies by experts.
The eighteenth paper titled “The Core Competency Evaluation of Security Guard License in
the Eastern Area According to Business Security Act B.E. 2558 (2015)” is written by Chanuan
Uakarn, Kajohnsak Chaokromthong, Nittaya Sintao, Uthai Shinawatra, and Darran
Yutthawonsuk from Thailand. This paper proposed to specify the Core Competency of
Security Guard License, to evaluate Actual Core Competency of Security Guard License, to
analyze variables that have Causal Relations with the Core Competency of Security Guard
License, to recommend the policy of the Core Competency Evaluation of Security Guard License
According to Business Security Act B.E. 2558 (2015) in the Eastern Area by using Quantitative
Research Qualitative research as the method to conduct.
