Training & Placement cell activities

1. One day visit at Khutaghat Dam, Ratanpur, Bilaspur District was organized for students of B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering) .

2. One day visit at Uttam Doodh Bilaspur Road, Mungeli District was organized for students of B.Tech.(Agricultural Engineering).

3. One day visit at Biogas Plant Mungeli was organized for students of B.Tech. (Agricultural Engineering).

4. Village attachment programme was organized in two villages namely Chamari, Banki, Baghamuda and Nirjam near college, where student learn from fa rmers and some information regarding agricultural technologies was provided to the farmers. technologies was provided to the farmers.

6. Final year students completed their in-plant training of three months at various regions of India like: a. Northern Region farm machinery training and testing Institute, Hisar(Haryana). b. Rajiv Gandhi National Ground water training & research institute, Raipur (C.G.) c. Central institute of Agricultural Engineering, Bhopal (M.P.). d. Local Rice and Pulse mill of Mungeli (Chattisgarh)

7. Group discussion & Personal Interview was organised for final year students to develop their soft skills.

JRF & GATE

1. 11 students of the B. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) Final Year qualified Junior Research Fellowship examination organized by ICAR for taking admission in PG courses. One of the student namely Prashant Singh got 2nd Position in General Category . Prashant Singh got 2 Position in General Category .

2. Two Students of the B. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) Final Year qualified in the GATE examination for taking admission in PG courses.

Library Report 2014-2015

Budget - In this financial year we received an allocation of Rs 2 ,00,000.00 under budget head No. Bud./Compt/18/2014-15/1644 dated 28/08/2014.

Purchased Equipment and other items - In this financial year we purchased some computer items, Books, Library Stationary, Journals and some ICAR Print publications.

New Books Purchased during 2014-15 (Quantity)- In this financial year we purchased total 479 Nos of books.

Linkage with Nehru Library. Internet facility is available and access is allowed.

Library Hour 10.00 AM to 5.00 PM on all working days.

Books circulation process is also going on.

Presently library having Total 3122 nos. of books and 8 (Eight) nos. of journals and 04 general monthly magazines and 3 newspapers.

Library is providing photocopy services.

Library having some e-resources like purchased ICAR CDs. Some CAB Abstract (1989-2006) taken from central library.

This college is situated at remote location of city therefore broad band Internet connection is not available here.
