FOUNDATION UNIVERSITY ISLAMABAD (FUI)
The FUI is located in Islamabad Pakistan. The University was established in 2002 to provide high quality
education conforming to the international standards. It has got two Campuses, namely Foundation University
Islamabad Campus (FUIC) and Foundation University Rawalpindi Campus (FURC). The FUI offers undergraduate,
postgraduate and doctoral studies in medical sciences, humanities, fine arts, philosophy, engineering and various
registered academic programmes. Its primary financial endowment and funding are sponsored by the Fauji
Foundation run under the auspicious of Pakistan Army.
In a University category list issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in 2013, Foundation
University has been placed in highest W-4 category.

MISSION
The FUI‟s mission is to inspire creative inquiry and research to foster personal and professional development
of its students. The FUI is committed to provide equitable access to holistic education in diverse disciplines to produce
valuable human resource for the local and the global communities.
VISION
The Foundation University aspires to be among the leading institutions of higher learning which contributes
towards development of the nation through excellence in education and research.
GENESIS
The FUI was granted the Charter by the Federal Government vide Ordinance No. LXXXVIII of 2002, as
promulgated by the President of Pakistan and notified in the Gazette of Pakistan.
The FUI is an affiliated project of Fauji Foundation (FF) which is a charitable trust for the welfare of ex-
servicemen of armed forces and their dependents. Operating as a self-supporting entity in the private sector, it has
been generating financial resources to meet its welfare obligations through its own industrial and commercial projects.
Today, the Foundation extends social welfare services to over 9 million beneficiaries i.e. 5% of country‟s population.
Around 80% of its annual earning is spent on welfare.
It successfully manages a large healthcare chain of 115 hospitals, medical centers and dispensaries, 109
schools/colleges, and 74 vocational/technical training centers. The Foundation successfully meets all its continuously
expanding welfare obligations across the country from resources generated by it.
FUI has a vision to grow and venture into new vistas; several ambitious projects are already in the pipeline.
The state-of-the-art infrastructure of Foundation University College of Dentistry (FUCD) has been completed at an
estimated cost of Rs 275 million. The FUMC also intends to start M Phil leading to PhD & FCPS programs in basic
medical sciences soon, under the aegis of FUI; for this multidisciplinary lab for post graduate research has also been
completed. Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) programme has already started since Sept 2014. FUI has set course for
making FUIC a smart campus where everything is computerized with paperless environment. At FUI, Campus
Management System is operational since January, 2014 is presently being up graded in better services.

Message from Rector FUI
Foundation University Islamabad (FUI), a project of Fauji Foundation was established under a federal charter in October 2002.The study programmes offered by the University have been duly accredited by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP) and all relevant bodies. The University has been rated as category „W4‟ (the highest rating category) by the HEC and is also ISO 9001:2008 Certified. Foundation University aims to become a research-led institute, and for this purpose, the university has established the Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC). FUI is vigorously pursuing academic and research collaborations with well-reputed universities both within as well as foreign countries.
Foundation University is a quality conscious institution and follows a viable Quality Assurance mechanism. Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at FUI has also been revamped to constantly monitor the assessment of students learning outcome, evaluate existing programs for relevance and effectiveness and regularly carrying out faculty assessment. Besides quality education and research, the FUI is also focused on the students counseling, career guidance and serves as a bridge between the University graduates and the employers. The University regularly organizes the open houses and job fairs to facilitate its students in choosing the right direction for their professional grooming.
FUI is offering high quality education on the most innovative/modern lines and is committed to provide equitable access to holistic education in diverse disciplines. The faculty of FUI is highly qualified and dedicated to achieve academic excellence. FUI has state-of-the-art, purpose built academic blocks with spacious lecture halls, equipped with interactive boards. In addition, there are tutorial rooms, a digital radiography department, clinical areas, laboratories, video conferencing halls, a digital library, a student‟s hub, clinical skill laboratory, a multi-disciplinary laboratory, museums, auditorium, and conference rooms. FUI has also launched its unique campus management system to help the students, faculty and the administration to work in a homogenous paperless environment to enhance efficiency. The examination branch ensures a unified, technologically strong, and transparent system that guarantee highly reliable testing and evaluation procedures with zero tolerance.
The Foundation University Islamabad Campus (FUIC) comprises Medical College, College of Dentistry and an Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences. It has a well reputed fully equipped 750 bedded, Fauji Foundation Hospital, which serves as the teaching hospital for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The pioneer batch of BDS programme is progressing well and nearing to completion of 1st academic year.
I would like to assure the parents and our prospective students who are thinking to become part of the FUI family that their decision to join Foundation University College of Dentistry will certainly be rewarding. Welcome to FUCD, The FUCD has been established in 2016. The purpose built campus has multi-story
building for academic block, a girl‟s hostel, a boy‟s hostel and an auditorium. It has state of the art Lecture Halls,
Examination Halls, Labs, Museums, Dissection Hall, Library, Computer Cell and Top of the line Dental Equipment in
the fully functional Dental Clinical Sciences Departments. It has full-fledged facilities in Basic & Clinical Medical &
Dental Sciences with a fully equipped multi-disciplinary Laboratory (MDL).

The MBBS, BDS and DPT programs offered at the Foundation University Islamabad are developed on
modern lines. They are designed in such a manner that they fulfill the future requirement of the market and equip the
graduates to meet challenges.

Message from Director FUIC & Principal FUMC
Welcome to Foundation University Islamabad Campus (FUIC) which presently constitutes Foundation
University Medical College (FUMC), Foundation University College of Dentistry (FUCD) and Foundation University
Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (FUIRS). Foundation University College of Dentistry (FUCD) is a one of the very
few purpose built dental colleges in Pakistan having a highly qualified & trained teaching faculty. The education
system is at par with international standards. Making full use of the most up-to-date approach to adult learning and
teaching we have adopted student centered approach. Inter-professional education and collaborative practices are
embedded in the curriculum hence developing awareness of ethical and professional responsibilities.
FUCD has well equipped clinical areas which cater for 100 Dental Units to treat FF Beneficiary, Panel and
private patients. Affiliated with the college is a 750 bedded Fauji Foundation Hospital (FFH) which hosts both
undergraduate and postgraduate training programs. Foundation University College of Dentistry is already running an
Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and Assistance since March 2015.
In this era of interdisciplinary approach all faculties of Medical Sciences including MBBS, BDS and DPT
programs are closely integrated which is the hallmark of this campus.
I am confident & wish the BDS students to get prepared for the future challenges in the field of Dentistry in a
most relaxed & conducive learning / teaching environment.

Message from DEAN FUCD
Since its inception in early 2014, Foundation University College of Dentistry (FUCD) has embraced upon a
new journey with an aim to be known as one of Pakistan‟s most welcoming and inclusive institutions of graduate & Post graduate education in dentistry. We are proud to be in strong collaboration with Foundation University Medical College (FUMC) which has a reputation for innovative, inspiring and exciting education as well as rigorous training in the art and science of medicine & surgery. The presence of both these institutes along with their respective teaching hospitals at the same premises provides a conducive environment to achieve academic excellence and nurture skills. The highly qualified and dedicated faculty as well as the progressively evolving facilities endeavors to take its students to the pinnacle of academic excellence. At the same time we would like to assure students & parents that FUCD provide environment of self-integrity, dignity and respect.
Our aim is to produce dentists who are capable to serve the oral health needs of our population with
competence. FUCD believes in innovating the traditional curriculum by adopting a system-based, integrated modular curriculum which is already in vogue at most modern institutes of the country and world. The student will be educated in basic medical and dental sciences in the initial two years and will be trained in different clinical specialties in third and final years including Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Operative/Restorative Dentistry, Prosthodontics, Periodontics and Orthodontics on simulated models (phantom heads) and as well as live clinical scenarios.
FUCD offers the most modern and state of the art clinical facilities available in the country with services
ranging from fillings and root canal treatments Dentures to Orthodontics Implants and Major surgeries of the jaws, mouth and face. It houses its own Central Sterilization and Supply Department (CSSD), specially designed for enabling the clinicians to provide quality care with absolutely no compromise on sterilization and cross-infection control. The hospital is fully equipped with digital radiography systems including periapical, OPGs and Cephalometric X-rays to CT scans and MRI. Such state of the art infrastructure and facilities ensure a high quality treatment delivered to our patients in an efficient and a cost effective manner.
Once qualified, graduates will also be provided the opportunity to complete their house jobs under the same
institute i.e. Foundation University College of Dentistry Hospital. The purpose built campus of FUCD with state of the art infrastructure, along with a tertiary care teaching hospital (Fauji Foundation Hospital) and other allied facilities are located at the junction of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. This strategic location serves as an easy access to a variety of patients not only from the twin cities but also from the suburbs and far flung areas of the region, which will give our students a chance to learn the diverse conditions faced by a population of varied socio-economic backgrounds.

Students Hub
The Student Affairs Office is one stop service hub of all student activities and offers a variety of services to
students and facilitates their extra and co-curricular activities. The office functions as a friend and guide to the
students, administering to their needs from the time they make the first inquiry regarding admission to the time they
graduate. The office is responsible for all the admissions, registrations and entry tests etc.

FAUJI FOUNDATION HOSPITAL (FFH), RAWALPINDI
THE TEACHING HOSPITAL
It was established in 1959 as a TB Ward. Over the years, it has grown into a tertiary care/referral hospital of
750 beds. The hospital is being converted to 850 bedded modern teaching hospitals at the cost of about Rs. 1.6 Billion
with provision of further expansion to 1200 beds. It has all the requisite specialties as per the PM&DC rules. It is
financed and managed by the Fauji Foundation. It caters for the health needs of ex-servicemen and their dependents.
In order to ensure the optimum utilization of the facilities at FFH, these are now being extended to the private patients.
The Hospital is spread over an area of 53 acres and is staffed by highly qualified/experienced medical personnel and
has the latest equipment for diagnostic facilities along with modern operation theaters, intensive care units (ICUs) and
a coronary care unit (CCU). The hospital is considered as the prime health facility of the Fauji Foundation.

LIFE AT FUCD Accommodation Hostel accommodation is available to boys and girls who come from abroad and different parts of the country
on first come first serve basis. Hostels are managed by an experienced and competent management. The hostel
administration makes dedicated efforts to provide necessary facilities and environments to boarders for their
comfortable living conditions for academics.
ATM, Tuck Shop, Photocopying and Laundry facilities are available for boarders within the vicinity of the
respective hostels campus.
Security and Janitorial Services
The hostels are provided round the clock security through Security guards, fenced boundary walls and
elaborate CCTV systems. The hostel administration ensures hygienic and clean living environment, through round the
clock janitorial services.

Transportation
Pick and Drop services covering major portions of the Twin Cities are available on the prescribed routes (On
Payment).
Health Cover
Outdoor treatment to the students is provided under arrangements of the Fauji Foundation Hospital (FFH). For indoor treatment, the students have to pay the actual bill. Medicine is issued through authorized prescription only. The students are provided medical facility by FFH Rawalpindi as per following SOP:-
Students desirous of availing subject facility will inform their Senior Class Teachers, and report to the Student Affairs to get the sick Report slip. Students then report to FFH. Sick report Book is the document authorizing a student for treatment.
Student Affairs maintains a record for the students reporting sick.
The students report to Staff Surgeon (Male/Female) in FFH.
Report sick timing are between 0800 hrs to 1030 hrs daily, except emergencies. Students will intimate their disposal (Rest etc.) to Senior Class Teacher on their return from FFH to avoid being marked “Absent”.
Students are considered as Civilian non entitled (CNE) patient by FFH and accounted for as such. Prescription slips are issued as for CNE patients by the Receptionist of FFH.
Medicines are provided through retail issue store (RIS) of FFH.
Bills are not paid by the student at the time of treatment; instead these are sent by FFH Rawalpindi to FUIC in the first week of succeeding month.
FFH sends the medical treatment bills to the Administration of FUIC. The same are forwarded to the Account Branch.
Account Branch clears the bills, after requisite scrutiny, by 10th of each month. The same are charged to the students in their annual dues.
In case of emergency after office hours, the student will report direct to emergency FFH. FFH will provide necessary treatment immediately ON PRODUCTION OF STUDENT COLLEGE ID CARD. Get his/her sick report form from Student Hub FUIC on next day. Further instructions, IF ANY, will be issued by FFH Rawalpindi.

Campus Management System (CMS)
CMS is under the deployment phase at FUCD. In addition of the other modules, it also includes a Student Portal
which can be accessed online. The Student Portal provides an interface to various activities performed during the
whole academic year. It keeps students updated about:-
Module Timetable and Attendance View.
Assignment Submission and helping material download.
Module activities like assignments, quizzes etc, view and performance evaluation.
Teacher Evaluation participation.
Helping and reference material download.
Announcements and Events alerts.
SMS alerts on Specific activities.
Communication of results of end-of-module, Pre annual and University exam to the parents
Communication of attendance record to the parents of students on monthly basis.
Communication of less than 75% attendance to the parents on quarterly basis.
Preparation of daily absentee reports of the students and forwarding it to the Account Branch on monthly
basis.
Preparation and updating the session-wise list of the students, their addresses and telephone numbers.
Help in maintenance of discipline and keep a record of disciplinary actions taken against the students.

Facilities
Information Resource Centre (Library)
The library books, journals and periodicals have been carefully selected keeping in view the needs of the
scholars and researchers of Foundation University. The diverse collection of journals, encyclopaedias and course-specific
books are continuously being enhanced to meet the ever changing requirements of students. Libraries have ventured
into the realm of e-knowledge and online resources in collaboration with HEC are available for latest information.
To assist the classroom teaching learning process, the libraries maintain an audio-visual collection including
CDs and audio &video cassettes on various topics.

Medical Laboratories (Labs)
There are fully equipped state-of-the-art laboratories for Physiology, Biochemistry, Histology, Pathology and
Pharmacology. The departments of Anatomy, Pathology and Pharmacology have their own museums. Moreover,
there is a dissection hall in Anatomy Department and Clinical Pathology laboratory in the Fauji Foundation Hospital.

There are fully equipped state-of-the-art laboratories for Prosthetic work, Operative work and Orthodontics as
well. The departments of Oral Biology, Dental Materials, Community Dentistry have their own museums.

Computer Lab
There are two computer labs across FUIC campus. Computer labs are equipped with Latest Computer
System. These labs are used for scheduled classes as required for Dental Students and for different conferences.
Printing options are available in the labs for students and faculty. Wi-Fi facility is available for students, faculty and
staff.
Cafeteria

Auditorium
The College has state-of-the-art Auditorium. It has central heating and cooling system with a seating capacity
for 600 persons. The auditorium has top of the line acoustics and audio video facilities. It is a unique facility available
in the city and one of the few purpose built auditoriums in the country for organizing / holding curricular, co-curricular
and social events. The auditorium is LAN / WAN / WI-FI enabled for audio/video conferencing locally and
internationally.
Lectures / Seminars /Workshops
The College frequently arranges lectures/seminars/workshops on contemporary academic and social issues.
Eminent scholars from Pakistan and abroad are invited to speak on a variety of topics.
Extra/Co-Curricular Activities
University believes that extra/co-curricular activities are essential to groom students; therefore numbers of
societies/clubs are available to promote such activities and organize various events throughout the academic
year.

Counselling & Mentoring
The senior faculty members are designated as class coordinators to provide guidance in all the
academic/personal affairs of the students. The students are encouraged to seek help for timely solution of their
problems. Counselling builds confidence in the students and they never feel alone when facing any problem relating to
academics or other matters.
Communication with Parents
Complete involvement of parents is required for the students grooming at the University in academic. At the
end of the term, parents/guardians are informed of the student‟s performance. The attendance record of the student is
also communicated to seek parental guidance for the required remedial measures. Parent teacher meeting is held on
annual basis.
Financial Scheme
The Financial Assistance Program (FAP) being implemented in FUI since 2007 has been revisited in order to
cater for the changes in the organogram and progression of FUMC into FUIC to include the Dental College and
Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences.
FUI is also mindful of the high cost of the professional education and other hardships of the parents. To
address their predicament and to help the students persue their educational goals a Need Based Financial Loan
Program (Qarza-e-Hasna) has been implemented instead of Financial Assistance Programme.
The Fauji Foundation in general and FUI in particular is committed to provide most conducive learning
environments at NO Profit No Loss basis. The FUI has a firm resolve that the talented students are not denied the
opportunity of quality professional education due to lack of resources or finances. The University seeks out such
students with potential to excel and support them with the Merit Based Scholarships. The assistance is awarded
purely on merit and has no string / conditions attached to it for those who excel outshine in studies (No categorization
of civilians / armed forces etc).

Merit Scholarships
Open to All: Students are eligible for award of merit scholarships on attaining a position in the
professional examinations. The merit will be determined on the basis of result of annual / semester examination issued
by the Controller of Examination. The merit scholarship will be granted to the students as follows:-

o First Position 50% of tuition fee
o Second Position 30% of tuition fee
NOTE: The number of positions will be proportional to class strength
a. Upto 49 students - 1 Scholarship
b. 50 – 100 students - 2 Scholarships
Eligibility
o Merit Scholarship will be entitled to the registered students or who have been accepted for
admission in FUIC.
o Has not been involved in any disciplinary case in that year.
o Has not failed in any subject / course in that year.
o Scored minimum 60% marks.
INCENTIVES FOR BOARD POSITION HOLDERS
Board position holders for undergraduate admission will be offered Scholarships / financial incentive for 1st year
as under:-
1st position holder 100% tuition fee waiver
2nd position holder 75% tuition fee waiver
3rd position holder 50% tuition fee waiver
4th position holder 40% tuition fee waiver
5th position holder 30% tuition fee waiver

Qarza-e-Hasna – Term and Condition
o Financial Loan is provided to maximum 10% of the needy and deserving students. Irrespective of being
enrolled in the campus, defence forces personnel or civilian category.
o Extreme compassionate expatriate cases (loss of parents) may be considered for sanction of the loan.
o The FUI Secretariat will place the amount annually for disbursement as Financial Loan – Qarza-e-Hasna
to the undergraduates two months before the start of new session i.e. annual / semester.
o The limit of loans is up to a maximum of 50% of tuition fee (fresh application) which will be reviewed each
year.
o Loans are repayable any time during / after graduation. The repayment is voluntary and should be done
over a period of five to ten years, depending upon the amount of loan.
o The available amount shall be distributed among the applicants, on the basis of need of each case, as
deemed appropriate by the Financial Loan Committee (FLC), of the FUIC.
o Financial Loan is decided on the basis of information provided in the Application Form and scrutiny /
verification by the FLC.
o Students have to apply for Loan two months before the commencement of new session i.e. Annual /
Semester.
o Loan is not be permissible to 1st Professional.
o The student should apply for loan every year and they will be reassessed every time a fresh.
o Any false information / declaration or concealment of facts will lead to cancellation of loan and even
admission to the college as Recommended by the FLC.
o The Financial Loan forms are available at the Student Hub OR be downloaded from the FUI website
http://www.fui.edu.pk free of cost.

Eligibility: A student is eligible for Financial Loan if he / she :-
o Is a registered student of FUIC.
o The total asset of the parents (other than their personal residence) does not exceed five million.
o The student should maintain minimum 55% marks in FUI Annual Examination to remain eligible for loan
in the coming academic session. He / She should not have failed in any subject / course during the
current annual examination.
o Is not punished in a serious disciplinary case.
o Is not drawing any financial benefit from any other source equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee of that year.
o If a student is drawing any financial benefit from any source he/she will not be eligible for Financial Loan
of more than 25% of the tuition fee.
o FLC can recommend financial loan up to a maximum of 50% of the tuition fee in special cases if deemed
necessary.
o In no case a student is to be given any cash payment. The transaction will be made by FUI to the
institute / college and student will be informed, after adjustment.
o In case of limited amount available, preference will be based upon the academic merit of the applicants.

Admissions
Admission in FUCD is open to all students irrespective of gender, religion, colour, creed, class and domicile
who are academically qualified for admission to the courses of study offered by the college as per the rules of the
Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.
The admission is offered strictly on the basis of merit determined by the FUI as per the admission criteria.
Applications
Prescribed admission forms are available from the Student Hub and various locations notified in the
advertisement. Online application form may also be downloaded from the university website www.fui.edu.pk.
Applications are received after the appearance of advertisement in the national press.
Application Requirements for Dental Students
Following requirements of the PM&DC & FUI must be met by all the applicants seeking admission in the BDS
program:-
Prerequisites for Pakistani Candidates
F.Sc (Pre-Medical Group) securing at least 60% (unadjusted) marks.
Examination equivalent to F.Sc from a foreign university examination body / foreign education system with
three science subjects out of which Chemistry and Biology are essential subjects with 60% marks in
aggregate as certified by the IBCC.
Federal / Provincial entry test is mandatory for admission in MBBS / BDS.
Prerequisites for Overseas Candidates
Following category of students shall be eligible for admission on Foreign / Expatriate seats:-
Pakistani National who has passed an examination equivalent to FSc from a foreign university /
examination body / education system with three science subjects out of which Biology and
Chemistry are essential subjects with 60% marks in aggregate as certified by IBCC, Islamabad.
Foreigners and Pakistanis having dual nationality / resident status of a foreign country, irrespective
of study in Pakistan or abroad.
Pakistani student who studied abroad for and have passed premedical FSc / HSSC / Intermediate
with more than 60% marks.
SAT-II Examination score with minimum 550 marks in each of three subjects or MCAT of minimum
aggregate score of 24.
An alternate to SAT-II / MCAT is the provincial entry test.
TOEFL or ILETS with score of 500 or 5.5 only if the medium of instructions of study two years prior
to admission / entry test is not English.

Validity of Test Scores
The SAT II and TOEFL / IELTS scores are valid for a period of two years from the date the test is written. For
admission to the 2017 academic year, SAT-II / MCAT and TOEFL / IELTS written from 15 November, 2014 and
thereafter will be acceptable.
Documents to be submitted
A candidate, who is eligible for admission, must submit attested copies of the following documents (as
indicated against each) along with the application form and the Deposit Slip covering the application fee by 15
November, 2016.
SSC or equivalent foreign qualification certificate (one copy).
HSSC or an equivalent foreign qualification certificate (one copy).
National Identity Card/Form B of the candidate (one copy).
National Identity Card of Father/Guardian (one copy).
Attested photocopy of Domicile.
Recent three coloured photographs of the applicant.
Bank draft of Rs. 2100/- as processing fee (Dental Students in case of downloaded form).
Copy of admission card of Provincial / Federal Government Entrance Test.
The expatriate candidates will provide the following documents.

Defence Service Certificate of the Parents, duly signed by the commanding officer of the father/mother,

In case the parents are retired from the Defence Services, a copy of the pension book attested by a
serving/retired Commissioned Officer.

It is the responsibility of all those candidates having foreign qualifications i.e. other than Matric / FSc (Pre-Medical)
from Pakistan, to obtain recognition of their qualifications and equivalence certificates from the Inter-Board Committee
of Chairmen (IBCC), Islamabad.

Entrance Test
Federal/Provincial Governments will hold Central Entrance Test for admission in BDS in their respective
provinces to determine the merit.
No admission will be given without entrance test and an alternative to the entrance test for Expatriate/Foreign
students is provision of SAT–II examination result with minimum 550 marks in each of the three science
subjects out of which two have to be Biology and Chemistry.
The entrance test of all the Provinces or Federal Government shall be acceptable for admission as per the
latest PM&DC SOP.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to provide copy of admission card from the Provincial / Federal
Government entrance test FUCD will download the result from their official website.
All admission in FUCD will be completed by 30th November and list of the admitted students will be sent to
PM&DC.

Selection Procedure
The applications for admission are reviewed by the Admission Committee.
The candidate can apply only as Pakistani Resident or Expatriate/Foreigner. The applications to change the
status from Pakistani to expatriate will only be considered if there are seats left in the Expatriate/ Foreign
Category.
The relative weightage of all the components of the Admission process i.e. the academic achievements in
SSC, HSSC or its equivalent examination, and the Entry Test marks are added to determine the final merit.
The weightage for calculation of the merit is as under:-
Pakistani Students:
a. Matric / Equivalent - 10%
b. FSc / Equivalent - 40%
c. Entry Test / Interview - 50%
Interview of short listed candidates will be held by a panel of FUIC Admission Committee.
Verified Hafiz-i-Quran shall get credit according to the Government admission policy.
The decision of the Admission Committee is irrevocable and non-negotiable. The authorities are not bound to
explain the reasons for their decisions to the applicants, their parents or guardians.
Overseas Students:
Will compete among their own category.

Dental Students Registration:
The students admitted in college will be registered with FUI.
The students will also be registered with the PM&DC as dental students, within three months of admission
through the Principal office, failing which they should not be allowed to continue further studies. It is binding
on the students and the College to ensure compliance.
A student shall be registered as a dental student only if he/she fulfils the admission criteria and falls within the
seats allowed to the college.
Every BDS student registered with the PM&DC shall be furnished a student registration number, a certificate
and a picture identity card which shall be prominently displayed by the student throughout his/her study.
FUI shall issue only provisional enrolment to the BDS students and once the student is registered with the
PM&DC, he/she shall be issued a permanent enrolment.
Foreign students seeking admission in the University can submit their application along with application fee
through their respective Embassies /high Commissions. For detailed instructions please visit Higher
Education Commission website www.hec.gov.pk.

The candidates may download the application form and mail it along with a bank draft of Rs. 2100/- for inland
and US $55.00 for expatriate / foreign candidates.

The status of candidates admitted against the Expatriate or Foreigner seats will not be changed Category during the entire BDS course under any circumstances.
At the time of acceptance for admission in the college, all the dues will have to be deposited by a fixed and non-extendable date. In case of non-payment till the specified date, the offer of Admission in FUCD to the candidate placed at the bottom of waiting list.
The students will pay transportation charges annually @ Rs. 2,500/- for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd Year and 4th Year @ Rs. 4,000/-. It will cover the expenses of various official academic visit and class trips organized by the FUCD. Separate charges for pick & drop service.
Supplementary examination supply Fee is Rs. 7,000/-.
With Holding Tax @ 5% will be collected on all the fee received except on refundable security.
Annual tuition Fee / Hostel Charges of the students may be increased to coup up the inflation factor for the year @ 5% per annum.

Hostel Charges will be deposited in advance for one year if student decides to leave the hostel during the 1st
half of the calendar year and provided he / she gives a month‟s notice, (in the form of an application
addressed to the Director FUIC, through proper channel and if approved by the competent authority only
then, the hostel dues for the 2nd half of the calendar year will be refunded.
Catering / Laundry charges are out sourced. These will be intimated later on.
Advance Payment of Electric Charges Boarders:-
a. Each boarder shall be charged Rs. 12,500/- along with annual dues.
b. Rs. 25,000/- shall charged in case of double occupancy.
c. This will be considered as advance electricity bill. The actual bill will continue to be worked out as present every month and any increase / decrease will be adjusted in next years advance.
d. 5% surcharge on defaulters shall be levied.
