December 2015 Edition 40 Week 10 Term 4
Your childs academic report for the final semester of 2015
was sent home on Friday afternoon. As well as the grades
and comments from your child’s teacher, days absent are
also noted. If you would like to discuss your child’s report
with their teacher, please call the school office to book an
interview time
I have included a table below outlining the impact of
school attendance. Regular routines, contact with peers and
connecting to the school community are collectively more
powerful if regular attendance is maintained.
Setting these attendance patterns ensures we are setting
students up for success as school citizens, ensuring they
are making a valuable contribution to school life. It will
ensure greater success in transitioning to high school and
ultimately their contribution and success in further study
and in the workforce.
