English 12RX – Non-fiction reading Part 3: Group work & presentations

Chapter ______ Group members: _______________________________________________

During this phase of the project, you will work together with other students who have read and

evaluated the same chapter as you.

Discuss the chapter together as a group, considering the following:

- your initial individual evaluations of both the title and chapter assigned;

- the issues each chose to focus on for research;

- current assessment of the issue based upon the evidence you chose – did you change

your mind based upon what you discovered during investigation?

Analyze the information discussed and decide how you will “teach” the chapter to the class.

During this phase, you should figure out what issues will be your focus and how you will

organize responsibilities within the group.

Present your assigned chapter to the class. As a group, you may use technology to make your

presentation as interesting and effective as possible!
