I was purchasing a new computer from the store and I wanted to get all the bells

and whistles attached to it. The salesperson told me to come back in about 5

hours to pick up the computer; it should be ready at that point.

So I was really excited about the computer and showed up right on time to pick it

up. But guess what happened?

It wasnt ready. Now there is one thing you should know about me. I am

extremely impatient. So when the technician told me I would have to come back

the next day, I was furious. But I held it together just long enough for him to

explain to me that everything had been done but the critical updates on the

computer.

The Character Trait That Screws You up Every

I said, Thats fine Just give it to me!. He

was reluctant to give the computer to me, but

I wanted it sooooo bad I was willing to take it

without the critical updates!!! So I was willing

to risk my entire computer shutting down or

getting infected with tons of viruses, just because I couldnt wait.

Hmmm.How many times have you done this in your life with men? You just

wanted someone to be next to or to share your day with or to go out with you

and you just accepted them without getting those critical updates. Maybe the

person didnt have what you truly wanted in a mate, but you still walked that

dangerous territory and dated them? Maybe like me, you practically threw

yourself into the arms of men because you were afraid it would be your only

chance or that he is the only man for you.

Fear and Impatience can get you in a lot of trouble.

What I Did Wrong In The Past

Let me tell you a little about myself. In the past, I havent had

the best luck with men. I actually pretty much sucked. A lot

of times on the internet, you will find a lot of people hiding

behind a faade and acting as if everything has always been

peachy and that they have always had success with men. But Im just going to be

very honest and transparent with you.

When I was in grade school and probably throughout college, I had a notion that I

was behind. Can you believe it? Grade school? Everyone seemed to have a

boyfriend except for me. So in seventh grade, I wrote my first love letter.

Can you believe it?????? Very sad, but this was an actual letter I wrote to a guy in

my class. I had so much fear that I would be alone I

was BEGGING him to be my boyfriend and practically

telling him that he didnt have to pay attention to me

or even like me, just give me the title of being his

girlfriendin secret. As ridiculous as this may sound,

that is what a lot women still do today. They dont

care. They just want a man.

Luckily for me, Tom didnt accept my attractive offer.

But this mindset followed me all the way through college. I would have major

crushes on guys and put them on pedestals, and I didnt even know them! Some I

had never had a single conversation with at all.

Do You Believe In Love At First Sight?

If you dont know already, this is the wrong way to think. Because if you are super

into a guy and havent even had the opportunity to really know him, it is actually

called infatuation and not love at first sight.
