Puppy Card

Steps:

Take 5-1/2”x 8-1/2” Very Vanilla Card or Pretty in Pink, fold short ends together. Place 2nd largest Heart Framelit and position tip outside the fold. (This will create the hinge and allow the card to open.) Tip! Move tip up higher than shown here..this cut it very close!) See pink opened up.

With the next size down heart, die cut contrasting heart. Cut in half for ears.

Using the Full Heart Punch, punch real red heart for nose.

Using the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder – run ears and nose thru the Big Shot. TIP – I ran both sets of ears and noses through at same time.

Punch two (2) 1” Circles out of Primrose Petal for cheeks.

Punch Small Heart out of Real Red for eye

Punch 2 eyes using standard hole punch

Punch Medium Oval out of Real Red. Cut in half for tongue. – adhere tongue behind card front.

Assemble as shown! Use white gel pen to make eyes and black marker to make cheek dots and tongue

Happy Birthday Card

This card is sooo pretty in person…you will love it! Steps:

Card base 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” Very Vanilla card stock. Score and fold in half.

With Delicate Details embossing folder, emboss the front of the card base. Align the folder just right of center.

With ½” x 11” strip of Pool Part card stock & Scallop Border punch, punch scallop trim. Cut in half at 5-

1/2”.

Cut a 2” x 5-1/2” piece of More Amore Designer Paper.

Adhere the scallop trim along long sides of More Amore DP.

Adhere layer as shown, slightly overlapping the embossing.

With Primrose card stock and 1-3/4” Scallop Circle Punch – punch scallop. Cut in half.

Take about ~6” Victoria crochet ribbon trim and fold in half. Staple onto scallop half. With Hearts a Flutter framelit die, die cut banner with

More Amore DP. Adhere on top of scallop.

Adhere embellishment to card as shown. With Primerose ink, stamp sentiment. Trim out banner with scissors or use Bitty Banners framelit die.

Adhere to card using mini glue dots. This will allow you to make a slight wave in the banner.

Heartfelt Card

Steps

Card base 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” Very Vanilla card stock. Score and fold in half.

Take 4” x 5-1/4” Pool Party card stock and run through the Big Shot using the Chevron embossing folder. Adhere to card base.

Cut three(3) strips of 1” x 3” More Amore DP. Make banners by making a snip about ½” up the center of one of the short ends. From either side, snip up to meet center cut to form a banner.

Use Basic Gray ink and a sponge dauber or sponge to ink around edges. Adhere to card base.

Using the Hearts a Flutter framelit die, die cut the scallop heart image out of Primerose card stock. Ink around edges in gray ink.

With Versamark, stamp heart image from Hearts a Flutter stamp set onto Basic Gray card stock. Sprinkle Pool Party embossing powder over and tap off excess.

Heat emboss with Heat Tool.

With full heart punch, punch around heat embossed image. (Stamp, then punch!) Ink around edges in gray ink.

With ‘heartfelt’ sentiment from Fabulous Phrases and Primrose ink, stamp sentiment on very vanilla scrap. Punch out (stamp then punch!) with Modern Label punch. Punch out so sentiment is on right side – leaving room for the heart. Ink around edges with gray ink.

With Small Heart Punch and Pretty in Pink, punch heart and adhere to sentiment.

With 1/16” hand held punch, punch holes on either end (You may need to punch a second hole close to first to increase size of opening for ribbon.)

Thread 1/8” Very Vanilla Taffeta ribbon through holes. Keep in place with mini glue dots.

Adhere heart and sentiment embellishments with Stampin’ Dimensional foam dots.

Fabulous Banner Card Steps:

Card base 5-1/2” x 8-1/2” Pool Party card stock. Score and folded in half.

Take a 4” x 5-1/4” piece of Basic Black and run it through the Big Shot using the Chevron folder.

Using the stamps as shown from the Hearts a Flutter Stamp set, stamp images with Primerose, Pool Party, and Calypso Coral as shown all on the same strip of Very Vanilla Card stock.

Die cut images using Hearts a Flutter framelit dies. TIP! Use a post-it note to keep frames in place for cutting.

With 1/16” Hand held Punch, punch holes in upper corner of banners as shown.

String White Baker’s Twine through holes to form banner. TIP! Use a wide eyed needle to thread your banner. Goes super quick.

Adhere banner with tape to the back of the black cardstock layer. Tape works best for me to keep the twine in place.

Adhere banner layer onto card base.

To keep banners in place, use a mini glue dot on the back of each banner. This keeps them from sliding along the baker’s twine.

Stamp ‘fabulous’ from Fabulous Phrases stamp set using Pool Party ink unto scrap of Very Vanilla.

Punch out with Word Window Punch (stamp then punch)

With Modern Label Punch and Calypso Coral card stock, punch layering piece.

Page 8: Free Tutorial More Amore Card Class - Create! with Dee

Adhere sentiment onto modern label.

Adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensional foam dot.

Using the Small Heart punch, punch image out of Pool Party card stock. Adhere to banner with Dimensional as shown.

Tie bow with Primrose Petal Striped Ribbon using White Baker’s Twine. Use mini glue dot to adhere to banner.

With Buttons #5 Die, make button out of Calypso Coral card stock. Adhere with Dimensional to banner.

I {heart} U Easel Twist Card

Steps:

Card base 4-1/4” x 8-1/2”. Fold short ends together to make a 4-1/4” x 4-1/4” card base. Open up.

Take the bottom left side corner and bring it up diagonally to the center top of the fold.

This creates the ‘twist’ for the easal.

Page 10: Free Tutorial More Amore Card Class - Create! with Dee

Cut two(2) 4” x 4” squares from More Amore Designer Paper.

With one of the 4x4, cut diagonally, going from bottom left to top right as shown.

With the card base open as shown, adhere the full 4x4 piece to the right side.

Close left side and adhere the diagonal strips to the front of the card, on either side of the diagonal fold.

Next is to create a ‘stopper’ embellishment on the inside so our easel has a place to rest.

With the Hearts a Flutter die, die cut scallop heart out of Primrose Petals card stock.

Punch Full Heart out of Red Glimmer Paper.

With Pool Party ink, stamp ‘forever’ from Fabulous Phrases on scrap Very Vanilla card stock and punch out using the Small Oval Punch (stamp, then punch).

Use Tombo glue to adhere the sentiment onto the glimmer paper. This will need to rest. Glimmer paper tend to repel most adhesives. Tombo works great, it just need a minute. Once dried, adhere to scallop heart.

Adhere embellishment with Dimensional foam dot.

With scissors, trim out hearts from specialty paper More Amore.

With Hearts a Flutter heart die (not the scallop), die cut with Pool Party card stock. Run heart through the Big Shot using the Perfect Polka Dot embossing folder.

Die cut “I” and “U” letters out of Typeset Alphabet. (I used a retired set…your letters will be slightly larger)

Page 11: Free Tutorial More Amore Card Class - Create! with Dee

Adhere lace hearts and I {heart} you to card front. Making sure NOT to add adhesive to upper part of embellishment. ADHERE to the right side diagonal only!!! This allows your embellishments to rise up. (shown from the back so you can see how it should look)

Test out your twisted easel card! Your friends and family will be so impressed!

Thanks for making this card class with me! I will have videos on how to make all the cards shown by mid-January 2013. Check

out my blog & click on My Videos to find.
