TODAY’S LOOSE OFFERING: Union Designated

Today, Sabbath keepers around the world are celebrating the last Sabbath of 2018. This is a prime opportunity to take an inventory of our life—looking at the past, evaluating the present, and contemplating the future. How has the Lord blessed you this year? Have you understood and embraced your dependence on Him? Have you been faithful with your tithes and offerings? Jesus stands at the door and knocks. He is willing to visit, listen, and forgive. Let us worship God today by joyfully giving as we allow His robe of righteousness to cover us.

Stewardship Spotlight: Please contribute to the local annual sacrifice fund. Your resources are needed for insurance payments, property taxes, Union loan, and church school subsidy. Thank you.

The treasurers and counters kindly request that members place tithe & offer-ing in a tithe envelope and remember to put your NAME on it and DESIGNATE where you would like your funds to go and place it in the offering plate. PLEASE DO NOT KNOCK ON THE DOOR after offering is collected!

Log on to the www.myfwsda.org Home page, see menu and click on Church Giving. Register if you are a first time user and follow the instructions.

Prayer Line: The 6 am phone number is 1-641-715-3605 (code) 402410#. The 7 am phone number is 1-515-739-1032 (code) 7792#. These are long distance calls and you will be charged unless you have unlimited long distance.

Ministries Council: For every event planned at our church a “Ministry Request for Facility Needs” form must be completed and turned in 2 weeks prior to the event. This will help avoid calendar conflicts.

Church Notifications: PLEASE NOTIFY THE PASTOR/OFFICE when the fol-lowing occurs: a member is ill; a member is hospitalized; a member passes away; or a family member passes away. Also, let us know when you have a change in phone number or address. Thank you.

Come to Prayer Meeting! Join us at the church on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm as we pray together and study from the book “Counsels on Health”.

9. The Life, Death, and Resurrection of Christ In Christ’s life of perfect obedience to God’s will, His suffering, death, and resur-rection, God provided the only means of atonement for human sin, so that those who by faith accept this atonement may have eternal life, and the whole creation may better un-derstand the infinite and holy love of the Creator. This perfect atonement vindicates the righteousness of God’s law and the graciousness of His character; for it both condemns our sin and provides for our forgiveness. The death of Christ is substitutionary and expi-atory, reconciling and transforming. The resurrection of Christ proclaims God’s triumph over the forces of evil, and for those who ac-cept the atonement assures their final victory over sin and death. It declares the Lordship of Jesus Christ, before whom every knee in heav-en and on earth will bow.
