Thank You to Our Sponsors! Welcome to the SCIDpdaAnnual Fundraiser
There are so many things you could be doing. It’s the end of the
week, so let’s have fun! It’s also my job to remind you that you’re at a
fundraiser and here to support our work. But don’t let that steal away
from a fun night!
The Chinatown International District is an important place for many
of us. It speaks to our hearts. It’s tied to who we may be — to our
identities. For many, it speaks to our stomachs! SCIDpda is rooted
there — it’s why our organizational name is so long! And we wouldn’t
have it any other way.
The SCIDpda is a community development corporation. We work on
building community, and all the elements that make a neighborhood
special — whether it’s keeping businesses in the neighborhood,
having great public space to enjoy, working to strengthen education
partnerships, or being able to go to the nearby post office to get
money orders. And yes, the housing is important, too.
It’s a Friday night — let’s talk story, have some fun, and please spend
some money. You’ll feel good about it.
Thank you again for being here! We truly appreciate it!
