Memorex Data Processing Equipment.

Disc storage and add-on memory. Memorex offers a complete line of disc storage products featuring capacities that range from .5 to over 635 mega­bytes and technologies that range from flexible disc storage to the latest sealed media. Our family of MOS memory systems is used to upgrade the internal main memory of System/3, 360 and 370 's offering you a highly effecti ve method of enhanCing your system.

Data communications. Within the data communications area we market the 1270 Terminal Control Unit and pro­grammable 1380 Communications Processor. The 1270 is a hardwired controller designed to handle com­munications between a central com­puter and remote computer terminals. The 1380 finds application in large, sophisticated data communications networks. Rounding out the communi­cations line is the company's 1377 Display Station . This device provides

Data Processing. Few companies can compete with Memorex when it comes to quality magnetic recording media for the sophisticated data processing in­dustry. Computer tape is where it all began back in 1961. Today, our full line of computer tape products-the Memorex IV premium worktape, the Quantum/L and Cubic critical and special appli ­cations tapes, the revolutionary and Memorex exclusive SuperReel that brings a whole new standard to reels.

Complementing the computer tape line is the broadest line of IBM compatible and non-IBM compatible rigid disc products you can buy-high-density disc packs, disc cartridges and data modules.

Rounding things out is our Memo­rex Markette family of flexible discs, in double-density configurations, hard­and soft-sector formats, single- and

the necessary interface between the data network and the user.

Magnetic tape drives. The Memorex 3200 Series Tape Storage System is a highly reliable tape drive subsystem that attaches to the System 370, Models 135 through 168. This system complements the cost effectiveness of the Memorex 3670/3675 / 3650 disc storage subsystems by fulfilling user requirements for a total solution to information and storage problems

Small Systems. Memorex offers a com­plete line of high-quality, System/3 computer peripheral devices, including printers, terminals, memories.and disc drives.

COM System. Memorex's on- line 1600 Computer-Output-Microfilm system is used to print computer-generated data directly onto microfilm at speeds up to 10,000 lines per minute. A unique fiber optics technology has helped make the 1600 the most widely used on-line COM system in the world .

Consumer and profeSSional. "Is It Live Or Is It Memorex?" is a line that has received worldwide attention in the past few years. In the professional area Memorex markets audio tape for use by profes­sional recording studios and blank audio cassettes used in industrial and educational training applications.
