After your site visit, could you send Maya and I a brief paragraph in an email with your observations on the precast facility and any information you have on the questions I posed below. If you brought a camera, we would appreciate any pictures of the precast yard we can add to our project file. Chris VanWyk and Carl feel that a brief write up from your site visit driving by the existing facility should be sufficient for our admin record.

Liz: Will do. Our agenda calls for a tour tomorrow afternoon. I'll assure our PMOC is included with any oversight assessments on this issue. And they're very appreciative of seeing the draft PA as a "timely" action on our part. It gives them an idea of what is included so they can lay out for us this week some oversight strategies. The PA PM in 6 months will play a key role for the signatories. I'm sure the PMOC will keep the new PM on the site visit agenda radar whenever they're in town. Keep in touch. .

We would appreciate any additional information you could obtain on the casting yard facility. If you have an opportunity, please ask about existing operations of the casting yard and ability to handle the casting needs of the Honolulu project. We requested City permitting information on the casting yard, but Faith Miyamoto was unable to produce very much. It may be easier for you since you are in Honolulu in person. The PMOC may be able to provide some of this info as well. We are just looking for some documentation to support the administrative record.
