Fiber-To-The-Cabinet (FTTCab) uses optical fibers to replace the traditional feeder cable. The fiber optical network unit (ONU) is located at the node, from which other media convertor lead to users. Each ONU can support up to a thousand users.

Fiber-To-The-Curb (FTTC) uses optical fibers to replace traditional copper cables. The ONU is located at the distribution box (user lead-in), from which other media lead to users. Typically, each ONU can support between 128 and 512 users.

FTTCab and FTTC mainly adopt XDSL technology to the user, making full use of the last one kilometer of copper, providing an economical broadband upgrade option. This maximizes the network bandwidth and increases network speed. Additionally, it enables improvement of network performance and transference to FTTH.

Various integrated outdoor cabinets from ADC Century Man, are suitable for FTTCab and FTTC. Options include an integrated outdoor solution with cabinet system, equipment system, distribution system, power and lighting protection system, temperature-control system and environmental monitoring system. These solutions provide a range of different capacities and accommodate a variety of situations, enabling network bandwidth upgrade. They also bring the equipment closer to the users without the need to construct an equipment room at the fiber access point. These solutions offer complete cabinet protection and management to keep access equipment operating safely.

Fiber-To-The-Building (FTTB) provides voice and internet access for residents through copper wire or Wi-Fi. FTTB can adopt FTTB+XDSL/LAN to improve broadband speeds offering you a quick, cost-effective way to improve your competitive edge. Additionally, it enables you to improve network quality and upgrade to FTTH.

All broadband access devices provided by ADC Century Man are compatible with LAN and XDSL, making engineering construction faster and safer. Furthermore, these devices also overcome the shortcomings of traditional multimedia boxes by offering lighting protection and heat elimination.

Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) provides users with high bandwidth access, it includes the solutions for high-rise buildings, small-rise building and single house.

In high-rise buildings, the splitters are accommodated in the ODF which located in the telecommunication room of the basement. And the drop cable will be terminated in the 86 type fiber outlet passing by the optical distribution box.

In small-rise building, splitters are accommodated in the FOCCC, and distribution fibers are led to the optical distribution box of the building and terminated in 86 type fiber outlet in the household.

For single house, splitter is accommodated inside a closure and the fiber is led to single household and terminated in the 86 type fiber outlet.
