40 minute classes with a flexible block schedule

Less elective choices Core classes taught within a

team of teachers sharing the same group of students

Core courses taught Sept – June

35 minute lunch – closed campus (students not permitted to leave)

Student learning is closely monitored by their teachers

75 minute classes (usually 4 a day)

8 Courses in total (4 each semester) that include 5 core courses and 3 elective choices

Core classes taught by teachers in different departments

Classes are everyday for 1 semesterSemester 1 – Sept. to Jan.Semester 2 – Feb. to June

55 minute lunch – open campus (students may go off-site)

Students are more responsible for their own learning

IB Program-IB foundations 9&10Two preparatory years leading to the IB

Diploma in Grades 11 and 12.

Includes course work from Ministry of Education Grade 9 and 10 programs including Provincial exams.

Students are expected to undertake the entire program.
