Drawing architecture is a way we as students can develop a deeper understanding of
the intricacies and subleties that characterize the sequential experience of moving
through space. The following drawing is a one point perspective using pen and water
color.

The subject of study is the yucca elata “soap tree yucca”
drawn on site at Palo Duro Canyon using indian ink, black

The human back is the largest posterior area of the human body and is often refered to as the largest canvas for body art.
The intericate anatomy provides both structural support and flexability for movement. The images display both male and
female back as a way to imply nudity without displaying it.
Exploring composition layouts with objects that daily surround us reveal
hidden features despite the simplistic nature of its presence. The medium
used to capture fruit where watercolor paper and
various tones of watercolors.
The newspaper was used to form a collage by
cutting strip of various sizes together creating
spatial tectonic properties that weave the various
sections of information.
backround building
Address: 111. Main st Ann Harbor Michigan
The following backround building was documented to scale using ruler and measuring tape.
The dimenstions where transposed on 11” x 17” canson drawing paper and drawn by hand
using t-square, triangels, and pens of various line weights.
palais ossoli
One of Andrea Palladios famous
works, the Palais Ossoli, features
geometry and rythems that
harmonize the builing both
within its interior and exterior
context.
The drawings where drawn on
mylar paper and with pens
of various line wieghts.

MISSION: THE COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE EDUCATES FOR FUTURE DESIGN PRACTICE AND ADVANCES KNOWLEDGEOF THE DISCIPLINE FOR THE BENEFIT OF SOCIETY
ART EDUCATES A CLOSED SOCIETY
The program takes the physical conditions of a filter
and how it is used to defined wall, stairs, and
threshold for bacterial colonies to grow in.
The emotional conditions of the program include
the walls ability to provide the bacteria a constant
flow of water for continuous growth of bacteria
within the filter. The stairs navigate the bacteria
through a series of different locations by setting
connections with other bacteria around them.
During the cycling process the threshold provides
the bacteria a change in their physical state as they
journey from one end of the filter to the other.
Arch3355 focused on producing construction documnets
using Building Informatin Model(Revit).
Arch 4354 was a collaborative semester long project that focused on using
Intergrative Building Modeling(ArchiCad14) to create appropriate design and
sustainable building criteria in downtown Lubbock.

Energy Analysis
As I pace my steps through the desolate night a dim light catches my eye. Through the crevice of a shattered window
appears an obscure room filled with tires of all sizes. Amid the tires arc there lays a hidden ability to break from its
neglected state and begin its wild abandonment by twisting and bending within its malleable form. The curves begin
their shift in elevation revealing a form as it moves through its contours similar to the experience of a winding road.

Architecture is placemaking. In other words, its is an exploration of the synthesis between local natural conditions, culture, and materials, a
means through which modern living can be adaptedto fit its specific surroundings and climate. My goal is to work for a firm that weaves
together these ideas through the combination of sustainabledevelopmnet and the most recent advances in materials and technology.
