Gettysburg vs. Dickinson (since 1993-94)GAME NOTES

OPENING TIPGettysburg seeks to maintain its unbeaten con-ference mark against the only team to sweep the Bullets in the regular season a year ago.

ALL-TIME SERIESGettysburg holds a sizeable 56-25 advantage in a series that dates back to 1975-76. The Bullets owned a 12-game winning streak in the series before the Red Devils managed a regular-sea-son sweep last season.

LAST MEETINGDickinson swept the season series from Get-tysburg for the first time since 2007-08 last season. After winning 65-61 in Carlisle, the Red Devils handed the Bullets a 58-51 setback inside Bream Gym. The decision was Gettys-burg’s only home loss of the season. The two teams entered the fourth quarter tied at 42, but Dickinson out-scored Gettysburg 16-9 to clinch the win. Emily Gibbons ’18 and Emma Dorshimer ’19 each scored 17 points with Gib-bons also grabbing 11 boards. Helen Roberts led the Red Devils with 19 points and Kassidy Lesher turned in 16 points and 12 rebounds.

LAST TIME OUTElizabethtown handed Gettysburg its first loss 77-54 in a non-conference game Monday night. The Blue Jays opened the game with an 18-7 lead after the first quarter and then took control with a 20-5 run spanning the third and fourth periods. Senior Emily Gibbons re-corded a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds, while sophomore Ashley Gehrin scored 13 points and junior Emma Dorshimer added a dozen tallies.

THERE’S NO PLACE LIKE HOMEOver the last six seasons, Gettysburg has post-ed a 53-12 (.815) record inside Bream Gym. The Bullets have won 14 of their last 15 games on the home floor with an average margin of victory of 13.9 points per game.

DOUBLE-DOUBLESWith her third double-double of the season last game, senior Emily Gibbons became just the fifth Bullet to reach 30 career double-dou-bles. She is the first Gettysburg player to reach that total since Jennifer Bengel ’06. Kelly Geise ’95 and Ann Hymes ’96 share the program’s all-time mark with 42 career double-doubles.

SCOUTING DICKINSON... Dickinson beat Swarthmore 69-58 last Sat-urday. The Red Devils led 22-8 after one quar-ter and held a 22-point advantage early in the third quarter. Kassidy Lesher paced the team with 25 points and seven rebounds.

Dickinson has converted more free throws than any team in the Centennial Conference. The Red Devils rank second in the league with a free-throw percentage of 71.6. Kassidy Lesher has reached double-figures in each of her last five games. Lesher has recorded three double-doubles this season and ranks third in the con-ference in rebounding.
