What did that play?

The Egyptians did these types of things to keep them entertained.• Go fishing on the Nile • Leapfrog• Wrestling • Whirling games that made them dizzy• Ball games• Tug-of-war• Doll like figures and model animals• Board and dice games

Ball games

• They liked to play game like “piggy back”, it’s a game where two people get on two other peoples backs and through the ball to each other.

• The balls were made out of leather filled with seeds to make them rattle.

Fishing on the nile

• Parents loved to fishing on the Nile because it was lots of fun and a good way to feed their family

• Kids also like to go fishing with their parents.

Board games and dice games

• The liked to play board games because they liked making their own dice and painting boards to play with.

The rich and poor

• The wealthier kids play with more things like dolls and model animals, like the toy cat that you open its jaw by pulling its string.

• The poorer kids were happy to play with sticks and mud.• Sometimes the wealthier kids would challenge the other

kids to board games and dice games.
