Evalua&on  of  First  set  In  this  set,  I  experimented  with  the  consumable  items  that  a  ‘Gamer’  would  use  to  stay  in  the  game,  so  I  was  

photographing  food  wrappers/packets  and  drink  boBles/cans.  With  these  items  I  was  crea&ng  a  

composi&on  out  of  these  items  to  make  them  visually  eye  catching.  However  I  was  selec&ng  parts  of  these  photographs  to  be  in  colour  and  the  rest  in  black  and  white.  And  I  like  the  results  here,  but  I  want  to  explore  other  aspects  of  a  ‘Gamer’.  So  what  I  propose  to  do  

next  is  to  take  photos  of  their  main  item.  The  controller.

With  this  set  of  photographs  I  was  taking  photographs  of  the  main  item  a  ‘Gamer’  will  use.  And  that  is  the  controller  itself.  So  I  was  taking  photographs  of  all  the  controllers  I  had  for  different  consoles  which  I  used  at  different  stages  of  my  life  up  un&l  now.  So  at  first  it  was  the  Nintedo  64,  Playsta&on,  Gamecube  and  now  the  Xbox  360.  My  next  set  I  want  to  experiment  with  the  is  the  idea  of  the  items  of  food  and  drink  at  the  personas  feet,  as  if  they  don’t  care  for  what  they  have  just  taken  into  their  body.

With  this  set  of  photographs  I  have  taken.  I  was  trying  to  show  the  viewer  that  ‘Gamers’  do  not  care  for  what  they  have  just  eaten/drank  because  they  are  too  busy  playing  their  game  to  care  for  the  junk  that  they  have  leT  on  the  floor  at  their  feet.  However  I  feel  this  set  is  not  as  strong  as  the  others  because  it  is  like  the  first  set  but  I  think  I  could  have  taken  them  further.  In  my  last  set,  I  plan  to  explore  the  help  that  ‘Gamers’  have,  guide  books.

Final  evalua&on  My  inten&on  of  of  my  final  four  and  my  previous  set’s  was  to  explore  what  a  ‘Gamer’  uses  in  their  day  to  day  rou&ne  of  playing  games  and  ea&ng  and  drinking  different  items.  Although  I  am  pleased  with  the  development  leading  up  to  the  final  four,  I  s&ll  think  I  could  have  improved  the  final  four  more  by  having  filter  effects  to  make  the  photos  more  eye  catching.  From  my  final  four  I  think  the  ‘Xbox  controller  on  a  guide  with  pages  green’  is  eye  catching  because  of  the  fact  that  the  pages  of  the  guide  are  rather  interes&ng  because  you  wouldn’t  see  a  book  normally  with  green  pages  within  a  book  normally,  so  it  makes  it  interes&ng  to  look  at.  In  conclusion,  I  am  rather  pleased  with  how  my  outcomes  have  come  out,  but  I  do  think  I  could  work  on  them  a  bit  more  to  improve  them  further  with  more  photo  choice  and  possibly  having  some  filter  effects  and  also  playing  around  with  the  colour  levels  to  get  the  right  results  that  I  am  looking  for.
