Garden Design Content: e course is divided between classroom lectures (20%) and studio drawing (80%). A wide range of draing (hand-drawing) exercises will be covered. Students will be introduced to graphic techniques used in landscape plans – site survey, master plan, planting plan and sections. e principles and elements of garden design will be explained and explored. Students will dra a garden design proposal for a given site. Please note additional time will need to be set aside for completing drawings at home and each student is required to have their own ‘drawing equipment’. A list of required equipment is available from the college. is part time module will equip the learner with the knowledge skill and competence to devise basic garden designs using the principles of design.
