Where did 2018 go? It seems like it was just yesterday that I was planning for 2018. What my budget would be for marketing and donations, now here we are at the end of the year and I am planning for 2019. I have tried to pull some stats from the area. I tried not to miss any but know that I could have some small mistakes here. Currently we have 149 active listings (as of November 23, 2018) in our trading area, listed through Saskatchewan REALTORS®. There were approximately 40 sales in the area with almost half of them happening at Turtle Lake. Our towns and rural properties were not moving very quickly this year which I know is disappointing for many people. When I look back over the last dozen years I can see that our prices have been increasing. We dont have many areas where prices have dropped. We still have Buyers but they are looking and willing to commute so that they can get what they want and need in their homes. For anyone that is trying to sell or thinking about selling, I recommend that you step back from your property and try to look at it from a Buyers perspective. This will help you visualize what you may or may not have to do to make your place the most desirable of all the properties they have to pick from. There are 3 pillars we always talk about in real estate. Location, price and product. Your location isnt going to change, which means we have 2 areas we can work with to find you a Buyer and hopefully be able to help you move to where you need to be next in your life. I would love to sit down with you over a coffee or tea to discuss any questions you may have. Gearing Up For 2019

The 12th month of the year. Where did 2018 go? It seems like it was just yesterday that I was

planning for 2018. What my budget would be for marketing and donations, now here we are at the

end of the year and I am planning for 2019.

I have tried to pull some stats from the area. I tried not to miss any but know that I could have

some small mistakes here. Currently we have 149 active listings (as of November 23, 2018) in our

trading area, listed through Saskatchewan REALTORS®. There were approximately 40 sales in the

area with almost half of them happening at Turtle Lake. Our towns and rural properties were not

moving very quickly this year which I know is disappointing for many people.

When I look back over the last dozen years I can see that our prices have been increasing. We

don’t have many areas where prices have dropped. We still have Buyers but they are looking and

willing to commute so that they can get what they want and need in their homes. For anyone that

is trying to sell or thinking about selling, I recommend that you step back from your property and

try to look at it from a Buyers perspective. This will help you visualize what you may or may not

have to do to make your place the most desirable of all the properties they have to pick from.

There are 3 pillars we always talk about in real estate. Location, price and product. Your location

isn’t going to change, which means we have 2 areas we can work with to find you a Buyer and

hopefully be able to help you move to where you need to be next in your life. I would love to sit

down with you over a coffee or tea to discuss any questions you may have.
