Gender Studies Brownbag Series: (En) Gendering Teaching and Research http://cte.ggc.edu What is this group? is is a learning community for faculty who: Have an interest in gender issues Have taught courses on gender or are interested in teaching or doing research on gender Are interested in discussing gender issues at the workplace Would like to have discussions and share re- search and teaching ideas with colleagues Group Objectives: By the end of the semester, participants will Gain new ideas about feminist pedagogy and share lesson plans relating to gender State that they have been able to develop or refine their research agendas Increase their knowledge on how to incorporate gender into classroom discussions Participate in campus-wide events related to gender Join in celebrating national and international women’s events How do I sign up? ere will be three tentative meetings in the CTE from 12:00 pm to 1:00pm this Fall based upon the schedule of participating staff and faculty: 9/20, 10/18, 11/15 Click Here to register online or contact Dr. Josephine Dawuni and Dr. Rebecca Flynn Center for Teaching Excellence
