PACE: COMBINING ONLINE AND RESIDENTIAL LEARNINGPathway to Campus Enrollment, or PaCE, provides freshmen with the opportunity to start their UF degree online and then transition to campus in order to complete an undergraduate degree. Applicants are considered for PaCE through the regular freshman application. Only students who select a PaCE major on their UF application will be considered for PaCE.

With 60 majors in seven colleges, PaCE features our esteemed faculty and meets the same rigorous UF academic standards that students encounter on campus.

Students admitted to PaCE will complete a minimum of 15 credit hours and two semesters through UF Online. After completing a total of 60 credit hours and all prerequisite courses, students may request to transition to campus.admissions.ufl.edu/learn/pace

Although you must be accepted for enrollment at UF before you are considered for financial aid, you should apply for aid when submitting your admission application. To apply for financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at fafsa.gov starting October 1, 2019. Financial aid is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so students should apply as early as possible to be considered for the most and best aid.

UF’s “on-time” deadline to receive the results of your 2020-21 FAFSA from the federal processor is December 15, 2019. Apply well before December 15 to ensure that the federal processor has time to analyze and send the results of your FAFSA to Student Financial Affairs (SFA). In order for SFA to consider you for a financial aid offer, you must be a degree-seeking admitted student and have met the “on-time” deadline. www.sfa.ufl.edu/prospective

One or more of the four types of aid (grants, scholarships, part-time employment, loans) are usually offered to eligible students to make up their financial aid offer. By March 2020, admitted freshmen who have filed the 2020-21 FAFSA on-time will receive an official aid offer online at one.uf.edu.

Florida Bright Futures and Other ScholarshipsThe Florida Bright Futures Scholarship Program, funded by the State of Florida, provides scholarships based on high school academic achievement. The program has different award levels, each with its own eligibility criteria and award amounts. Awards are per credit hour. www.sfa.ufl.edu/types-of-aid/bright-futures

The Machen Florida Opportunity Scholarship (MFOS) assists historically low-income, first-generation college students in meeting their college costs. Recipients receive a full grant and scholarship package to earn a bachelor’s degree at UF. Potentially eligible students must complete a FAFSA and meet other requirements. www.sfa.ufl.edu/mfos

Other scholarships are awarded by various organizations, such as the university, the state, individual colleges and departments, and private entities. UF’s Scholarship Search Engine is a searchable database of both college-awarded and private scholarships. www.sfa.ufl.edu/search

Student Financial Affairs is dedicated to helping students obtain financial resources so they may achieve their educational goals.
