How to find a free of charge SCN SAP Software Download Package Please go to the Software Downloads Space on SCN and use the Software Download Search to look

for your download package. You can also search for your download package directly in the Store

using its search functionality. Typing in SCN will list all available SCN packages on SAP Store, typing in

a specific solution ID number or the exact package name will list one individual package. If you can’t

find your package, please use the Software Download Search list. It is mapping the old SCN Download

Catalog packages with to the new Store links. Additionally you can refer to the listed SAP Store

solution ID numbers to find your individual package directly in the Store. You can also use the

integrated search box with autocomplete functionality.

If you don't find your package, please send us a mail with the reference Software Download Search

Solution not found indicating the old link and package name and we will do a follow up.

How to download an SCN SAP Software Download Package The SCN Download Catalog on the SAP Store offers a modern design and a clear catalog structure.

The first catalog page indicates the package name and version, how it is rated and a short description

of the download package. The SCN download packages are marked accordingly. Please note that the

download button is labelled with Trial Version because it refers to a special Store template. We are

working on it to change it accordingly. The packages are free and globally available. The downloads

are classified under a Store template for Germany and US. If necessary please filter for the country

page name at the top of the Store page to U.S. or Germany.

When clicking on the download button, a pop-up window opens. In order to get the download, you

need to fill in your credentials and to accept the SAP Terms and Conditions (End User License

Agreement) by marking the corresponding check fields. The download link will be provided to you via

email. From the download overview page on SAP Store you can get further information about the

download package by opening the corresponding tabs (for example, screenshots and videos -

additional technical information, customer reviews, solution provider and related solutions displayed

as small widgets).

For SAP employees: How to upload a new free of charge SCN SAP

Software Download Package You want to provide a software artifact for free of charge download on SCN. Check if your use case

and software type matches the criteria of the SCN Delivery Track. You need to follow this track to

comply with legal and SAP corporate requirements. Requirements (deliverables) for the free of

charge SAP software downloads are described in the cPro program template for SCN Deliveries SCN

Delivery Blueprint (static). You need a cPro program project with the blueprint structure (task tree) to

document the deliverables of your software package. The cPro program project acts as your

checklist. So, each software download needs a node in cPro with the task tree to track the

deliverables. When the deliverable is available and uploaded to the project, you can set the task

Status to green. This helps you to keep an overview about your open action items. If you have special

questions about an individual task, you can send a mail to the distribution list or to the person listed

If you already have a cPro program project, you can include the SCN Delivery template into the

project by yourself. You can request new programs in the tool Program Repository

the text box: “Please create program cPro from the SCN Delivery Blueprint.”

If you want to provide a SAP software download package which is already part of the standard I2M

program, you don’t need to do redundant work by filling out tasks that are already implemented in

the I2M program, like, i. e. product standard 3rd party and open source, IP protection, ECCN

classification, validation. Here you can refer from the tasks in the SCN Delivery template to the

already completed tasks of the standard I2M program.

For tasks One Voice name, End User License Agreement (EULA) and the Publication information you

have to upload the documents to the Documents tab in the corresponding SCN Delivery task.

Having filled out your data in cPro then please fill out in the download submission form

Your content will be checked and then published on SAP Store. Your package will be transferred to

the Akamai Server.

How to upload an updated version of an SCN SAP Software Download

Package This process is valid for minor versions and small updates. For major version changes (e.g. different

open source components) you need to follow the SCN Delivery Track again. If you have to update

your software package which is already available for download on SAP Store, please do the following

steps:

Provide the URL location of your software package update and put it on

Provide the new version number of your software package update.

Provide the cPro project name and URL corresponding to the approved download version.

Provide the URL or ID number to the current SAP Store page.

Upload the information about the version update into your cPro project program (see

above).

The publishing request process will take 3-7 working days and depends on cPro approval.

Once published, the new entry will appear on the SAP Store and on the Software Download

Search list.

What is new To make your actual software download package more visible on the Store, you can now

provide images and videos.

Under the general software download package name all relevant versions are listed on the

Store, you get them having filled out the credentials form and accepted the EULA.

Please note that the download button is labelled with Trial Version because it refers to a

special Store template. We are working on it to change it accordingly.

Your packages are now listed in the Store under the naming SCN – package name.

How to get a Reporting (Page Views and Software Package Downloads) One of the pain points and key reasons for the migration was the fact that the exact number of

downloads for each software download package couldn’t be tracked. SAP Store provides now a

monthly reporting including page views and the number of downloads for each software package.

The reporting will be published on the Software Downloads Space.
