3.6 Audit Trail (iAudit).

3Optionally, the safes have a permanent memory (the audit trail stores the last 1,000 eventsin its memory). Where necessary, the hotel staff can consult the audit trail for any safe tofind out what took place and when. The safes have a connector to connect to the SD cardreader, in which it is possible to store up to the last 1,000 events.

The audit trail is an excellent tool for checking when the safe has been opened and the codeused to do so. It is possible to trace back and find who actually opened the safe (whether aguest or a member of the hotel staff). In this way, it is possible to reconstruct the wholehistory of a safe's openings.
