 The regional geology of the Seberang Jaya and Bertam area have a same

geology which is aluvium area (the Quarternary sediment). The area of

Seberang Jaya and Bertam, predominantly consists mostly of

uncosolidated marine clay, sand and gravel deposits of the coastal

plain and uviatile deposits along the valleys. This formation is reported to

have occurred in Quaternary time, which is at the most recent !." million
