Acute angle Angle bisector An angle that is
greater than 0° and less than 90°
Line/ray that separates an angle into two congruent parts
Circle
Complementary angles
A shape with one curved line with a fixed distance from the center called the radius
2 angles whose measures add up to 90° (right angle)
Supplementary angles
Diameter
2 angles whose measures add up to 180° (Straight angle)
Length from one edge of a circle through the center to the other edge
Isosceles triangle
Line
A triangle whose sides include a pair of congruent sides and one side not congruent to the other
A straight path between two or more points with no thickness and extends forever
Midpoint
Obtuse angle
The middle point that separates a line segment into two equal parts
An angle with a measure greater than 90° and less than 180°
Parallel lines
Perpendicular lines
Two lines that exist on the same plane that will never intersect
Two lines that intersect to form a right (90°) angle
Plane Square
Defined by 3 non-collinear points and is a flat surface that extends forever
A quadrilateral with 4 congruent sides and 4 90° angles with opposite sides being parallel
Straight angle
Radius
An angle that measures 180°
The length from the center of the circle to the edge of the circle (half of diameter)
Rectangle
Right angle
A quadrilateral 4 right angles (has opposite congruent sides)
An angle that measures 90°
Right triangle
Segment
A triangle with at least one angle that measures 90°
A part of a line with two end points on each side with all points between it
