LADIES A.M. BIBLE FELLOWSHIP - Learn what scripture says about living
the abundant life by studying Paul's letters to the Philippians and Colossians.
Tuesdays from 10-11:30 A.M. Aug. 30 - Nov. 22. For more information,
contact Dorothy Werkmeister, [email protected] or 306-2216.
LADIES P.M. BIBLE FELLOWSHIP - Study the lives of four unnamed
women of the bible who were known and loved by God. Also learn about our
identity in Christ in this 6-week DVD study, "Anonymous: Discovering the
Somebody You Are to God," by Cindi Wood. Tuesdays from 6:30-8 P.M.,
Sept. 13 - Oct. 18. For more information, contact Dorothy Werkmeister,
[email protected] or 306-2216.
AN ODD COUPLE, JONAH and RUTH: LESSONS FOR OUR FRACTURED
WORLD – All adults are invited to join a new Sunday School class starting
September 11. We'll study 2 books from the Old Testament that reveal
God's love for all people, including the outsiders. The Book of Jonah uses the
character of an outrageous excuse of a prophet to show how we should not
exclude others while the Book of Ruth presents a picture of what life would look
like if God’s people treated each other with His loving-kindness – insiders and
outsiders alike. Steve Begg will lead this class.
CHRISTIAN CONVERSATIONS: THE LIFE YOU’VE ALWAYS WANTED -
In this 6-week video-based study, John Ortberg shows us how to live as Jesus
would on a day-to-day basis. We'll work together toward a life filled with new
meaning, hope, change and a growing closeness to Christ. Meets in Woodlake
on Wednesdays from 7-8 p.m., Sept. 21-Oct. 26. All adults are welcome. For
more information, contact Linda Saunders or 804-501-8868.
