+Hospital Partner: Advocate Lutheran General Hospital

n  The CyberKnife® center was developed as a $6 million investment through a partnership between Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and US Radiosurgery.

n  As of June 1, 2013, Park Ridge-based Illinois CyberKnife and Advocate Lutheran General Radiation Oncology have partnered to establish The Brain and Spine Tumor Clinic at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. The clinic is an effort aimed at decreasing the time between a brain tumor diagnosis and treatment.

+Medical Director: Dr. Arica Hirsch

n  Dr. Hirsch is board certified in Radiation Oncology and has a particular interest and expertise in the treatment of breast cancer as well as the integration of natural approaches with conventional cancer treatment.

n  She is experienced in the use of conformal 3-D therapy, intensity modulated therapy (IMRT), and low and high dose rate brachytherapy. She is knowledgeable in the treatment of prostate, gynecologic, lymphoma, lung, gastrointestinal, head & neck, and brain malignancies.
