Current StatusWe are an ISO 9001:2015 Certified Company , Headquartered in Kolkata, India is one of the leading

Quality Manufacturers of VCB Panels (System House of ABB) , LT Earthing Equipment, Sub-Station

Structures etc. under the brand name of 'ESPL'.

We manufacture MV Switchgears in association with World Renowned ABB and HV Isolators with

wisdom from erstwhile decades old Eastland Company. Our Manufacturing set up with state-of-the-art

facilities is located at Sankrail Industrial Park, Dhulagarh, on NH-6, in Howrah near Kolkata.

We manufacture Medium Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breakers of I2 kV and

36 kV both Indoor and Outdoor Class for all applications as well as

Medium Voltage and High Voltage Isolators (Disconnectors) from 11 kV

to 220 kV.

Our Manufactured Products have been successfully tested at CPRI,

ERDA and others Govt. Accredited Laboratories. We supply our

Products to all over India and Abroad with high acceptance from

IndoorThe Company manufactures a wide range of Medium-Voltage Switchgear for Indoor Applications in the capacities of 6.6 kV, 12.0 kV, 36.0 kV rated from 630 A to 4100 A and upto 40 kA.

OutdoorThe range includes Vacuum Circuit Breakers of 11 kV and 33 kV covered in suitably designed Porcelain Insulators of the ratings of 800 A / 1250 A / 2500 A of the capacity of 26.3 kA.

Control Boxes for various Industries

The Company offers wide range of LT Panels of different ratings for all Applications starting from Electricity Distribution Panels for Domestic and Commercial Purposes, C&R Panels for Power Station Application upto 132 kV.

The Company has Unique characteristic of being the Sole Manufacturer of Quality Isolators (Disconnectors) of the widest range from 66 kV to 220 kV in all current ratings with Options of (a) With Earth Switch (b) Without Earth Switch for all kinds of Applications.

Accessories like Stay Set, Earth Rod, Ground Rod, Earthing Pipe, Earthing Spike and Sub-Station Structure of the same quality also available.

Eastland Switchgears with its modern and elaborate manufacturing facilities have been producing High-End Control Boxes for various Industries including Meter Boxes, Telecom Manhole Covers with locking keys for providing security to Telecom Junctions. These are available at Industry best rates and are manufactured from the best quality Raw Material. Moreover, these can be provided to the Clients in customized specifications as per the Client’s requirement.


G I Earthing PipeOur G I Earthing Pipes are highly durable in quality and sturdy in construction. It has been precisely designed under industry specific standards. It is used in Power Transmission Stations for Safety Purposes.

In compliance with the National Electricity Rules, some extra features related to safety have been provided in our GI Earthing Pipes that makes these highly desirablea.

Earth Rod and Ground RodEastland Switchgears is highly recommended for the finest and most useful Earth Rod and Ground Rod. This is corrosion free and has a high tensile strength. Dumper Placer DustbinsWe are the leading Manufacturer, Supplier and Exporter of Dumper Placer, available in Single and Twin Bin System. The Dumper Placer is generally mounted on L.C.V., M.C.V., and H.C.V. Truck Chassis. The Dumper Placer is taken to the dumping site and dump is unloaded conveniently.

Dumper Placer System is mounted on LCV, MCV and HCV Truck Chassis and depending upon the container capacity. It is meant for all small or big Municipalities, specially for populated areas.

Since its inception in 1984, Eastland Switchgears has scaled new heights in last 3 decades in different fields of Engineering and achieved success by making its presence felt in more than half the Country and some parts of the World.

It's my privilege and honor to pen this message as the Managing Director of pivoted Group of Companies under the aegis of Eastland Switchgears.

Whilst Electrical Equipment, Switchgears, Substations and associated Equipments remain at the core of what we do; we are equally well-versed in mining equipment as well as Food and Agricultural Products. We also serve our Esteemed Customers with Turn-Key Projects, EPC Projects and Annual Maintenance Contract with total competence to their utter delight.

We have gone through our quota of ups and downs as we also had our share of exciting yet challenging times. Eastland Switchgears, with good wishes and support from all its Stake-Holders aspire to become an INR 1000 Million Company in next couple of years. But, along the way we have never forgotten our responsibility towards Service to the Nation. We have been supplying APFC (Automatic Power Factor Control) Equipment to nook and corner of the Country living True to our Motto of “Protect Your Energy” by saving Power Factor consequently saving Energy Consumptions.

Infrastructure is the backbone of our Business and because of our state-of-the-art and elaborate infrastructural facilities; we have been able to Manufacture a wide range of World Class Products which have been well accepted and appreciated by our Esteemed Clients.

Our Infrastructural Facilities have been designed and created in such a manner that it is not only congenial for Production and Testing but also creates an impetus for designing and developing new products with cutting edge technology.

Apart from having a set of regular Production Machinery in a well laid out Premises in Highly Developed Industrial Park in Dhulagarh which is close to the City, some of the activities performed therein by us are:

Material preparation with Latest Machineries in appropriate atmosphere by Skilled Workmen and tested. Few of such components as maybe required are tested for Tensile Strength, Hardness and Thickness/ Adhesivity for plated/ painted components.After above Processes have been accomplished, parts & components are assembled as per drawings and wirings/ connections are made by Skilled Workmen under the strict Supervision of Qualified Engineers and Technicians.

These assemblies are then put to Electrical Insulation Test, Earthing Test and High-Voltage Test upto 100 kV with most Modern Electrical Equipment of appropriate ratings which are duly calibrated.
