BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS WITH LETTER OF INVITATION

This type of visa is permitted only to an applicant who works for a companyregistered in Canada, which is involved in a business relationship with a companyin Saudi Arabia and wants to represent the Canadian company.

” - passport, valid for 6 months at least and one copy of picture page, must haveplace of birth,” - passport must have two blank pages side by side” - one (1) fully completed and signed visa application,” - two (2) recent passport-style photograph, with plain white background andname written on back, 40x60mm.

” - The applicant’s sponsor / business partner in Saudi Arabia must provide:1) An electronic copy of the invitation letter from the Saudi company, approved byThe Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and addressed to the ConsularSection in Ottawa. Alternatively, you can provide the invitation number and theSponsor's Civil Registration number.2) A copy of the company’s registration certificate.

” - The applicant’s Canadian Employer must provide:1)A letterhead from a registered company or firm based in Canada addressed to theConsular Section including the following: The name of the applicant in full,religion, nationality, passport number, occupation, name of Saudi Arabiancompany, the purpose of the trip, length of stay and number of entries. The lettermust be signed and stamped by a Chamber of Commerce or Board of Trade.(Please see business letter sample in the Forms section)2) A copy of the Canadian company’s Article of Incorporation (Registration).

” - A photocopy of applicant's airlines reservation or itinerary (proof of purchasenot necessary), SIGNED by the applicant.

” - Non-Canadians must provide a copy of the front and back of their PermanentResident card.

CAUTION: The embassy will not issue a visa if your passport bears an Israelientry or exit stamps, or evidence of entry or exit from Israel, or a current validSaudi visa.

BUSINESS VISA REQUIREMENTS WITH AUTHORIZATION

This type of visa is permitted only to an applicant who does not represent or doesnot act on behalf of a company registered in Canada, or for expert or independentconsultants, or women traveling without a mahram wishing to conduct a businessor work visit.

The sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for a visa authorization through theMinistry of Foreign Affairs. Once the application is approved, the Ministry ofForeign Affairs will send the authorization directly to the Consular Section. Thesponsor must provide the applicant with a copy of the visa slip.

” - passport, valid for 6 months at least and one copy of picture page, must haveplace of birth,” - passport must have two blank pages side by side” - one (1) fully completed and signed visa application,” - two (2) recent passport-style photograph, with plain white background andname written on back, 40x60mm.

” - Either the civil registration number (computer number) or iqama number of thesponsor and either the application number or visa authorization number.

” - A signed letter addressed to the Consular Section from the applicant or fromthe employer (if applicable) including information about the applicant and purposeof the trip.

” - If you are travelling with your family and they are on your visa authorization,you need to submit:1) Proof of relationship to you (a marriage certificate for the spouse, and a birthcertificate for the child indicating name of parents) (Copy only).2) Copy of POLIO immunization record for children under the age of 15.

” - A photocopy of applicant's airlines reservation or itinerary (proof of purchasenot necessary), SIGNED by the applicant.

” - Non-Canadians must provide a copy of the front and back of their PermanentResident card.

EMPLOYMENT VISA REQUIREMENTS

The passport validityshould correspond with the duration of the contract, and include the place of birthand two blank pages side by side.” - Visa application form (Typed out or hand written in block letters).” - 3 recent (4x6 cm) passport photographs on a plain white background (writename on back).” - An original letter of sponsorship from the Saudi company indicating theauthorization number, the date, and the job title and certified by a Saudi Chamberof Commerce and the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs OR a copy of an electronicPower of Attorney with the same above mentioned information.” - A copy of the work contract.” - Copy of Saudi company’s registration certificate.” - Copy of your Canadian Degree / Diploma (two copies certified by the issuinginstitution or by a notary as well as authenticated by Canada’s DFAIT). Transcriptsand letter(s) of experience from previous employers. These two do not requireauthentication.” - Written authorization from the applicant allowing the consulate to verify theinformation with the educational issuing institutions (please see the AuthorizationForm).” - Foreign Degrees must be certified by the Saudi Embassy in the country ofissue.” - Completed medical report form and all test results. The report should be certifiedby college of physicians of the issuing province (Original Only). You MUST confirmwith your doctor that you have all required test results including (HIV, Syphilis, HepatitisB and C - please attach these result pages to the back of the medical report). If any of the4 results are positive+, your doctor must provide a typed explanation of why they arepositive. (If medical report is done outside of Canada, it must be authenticated by theSaudi Arabian Embassy in that country. If the medical report is issued in Saudi Arabia itmust be authenticated by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia).” - Police certificate. OFFICIAL GOVERNMENT INVITATION VISA

Your sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for a visa authorization through theSaudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Once the request is granted, the MFA will sendthe authorization directly to the Saudi Embassy. Your sponsor must provide youwith the authorization copy of the visa slip

” - Non-Canadians must provide a copy of the front and back of their PermanentResident card.

RESIDENCY VISA

” - An original and a photocopy of the applicant's passport. The passport validityshould correspond with the duration of the contract, and include the place of birthand two blank pages side by side.” - Visa application form (Typed out or hand written in block letters).” - 3 recent (4x6 cm) passport photographs on a plain white background (writename on back).” - Proof of relationship to the sponsor (a marriage certificate for the wife and abirth certificate for a child indicating name of both parents (Copy Only).- Non-Canadian applicants must submit a copy of their valid residency permit(permanent resident card). (Send only copy of front and back of the PR card).” - Copy of POLIO immunization record for children under the age of 15.” - Copy of Residency permit of the sponsor (IQAMA) and a Letter from thesponsor indicating the authorization number, the date and the names of applicants.

” - For residency visa applicants over 16 years old, the following are required:*Completed medical report form and all test results. The report should be certifiedby college of physicians of the issuing province (Original Only). You MUSTconfirm with your doctor that you have all required test results including (HIV,Syphilis, Hepatitis B and C - please attach these result pages to the back of themedical report). If any of the 4 results are positive+, your doctor must provide atyped explanation of why they are positive. (If medical report is done outside ofCanada, it must be authenticated by the Saudi Arabian Embassy in that country. Ifthe medical report is issued in Saudi Arabia it must be authenticated by TheMinistry of Foreign Affairs in Saudi Arabia).

INVESTOR VISA

The sponsor in Saudi Arabia must apply for a visa authorization through theMinistry of Foreign Affairs. Once the request is granted, the Ministry of ForeignAffairs will send the authorization directly to the Consulate. The sponsor mustprovide the applicant with the authorization date and number. The applicant mustverify that his authorization number has been received by the consular section.

If children accompanying on the same passport, pictures and namesof all members must be added on the passport by the proper legal authorities.” - passport must have two blank pages side by side.” - one (1) fully completed and signed visa application.” - two (2) recent passport-style photograph, with plain white background andname written on back,” - Proof of relationship to the sponsor (a marriage certificate for the spouse, and abirth certificate or a child indicating name of parents).
