HistoryOn 31 December 1881, José María Bocabella received some land of the block between the streets of Mallorca, Marina, Provence and Sardinia.With the money earned he decided to begin a charity project building schools and a church dedicated to the Holy Family in St. Joseph, the Virgin Mary and Jesus.Gaudí is the most important catalan architects.

Curiosities- The Sagrada Familia was constructed with 22 different types of stones.-It has many tall towers to arrive to her God, imitating Gothic churches.-Antoni Gaudí was buried in the crypt in the chapel of the Virgin of Carmen. -In 2005 the part built by Gaudí (crypt and the Nativity façade) was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.-It gets near 3 million visitors annually.
