Epigenetic Variation and Childhood Asthma in Puerto Rican’s

Proposes plans for a twin study of epigenetic markers of asthma in Puerto Rico. The focus will be on DNA methylation, particularly in promoter regions controlling immune functions. The subjects are already part of an ongoing twin registry and, as such, are well-characterized.
