The State Budget
• The bad news: This year the state will have to confront the problems that were avoided in 2004-05.
The budget battle for 2005-06 promises to be another life and death struggle.
• The good news: In the last budget fight hard work by faculty students and staff saved $40 million of CSU funding.
We must wage this battle again—stronger, smarter, faster.
