God Is Holy

Revelation 4:8

The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of

eyes around and within. And they do not rest day or night, saying: “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God

Almighty, Who was and is and is to come!”

Isaiah 6:1-3

1In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and

lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. 2Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he

covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is

the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!”

Ezekiel 1:28

Like the appearance of a rainbow in a cloud on a rainy day, so was

the appearance of the brightness all around it. This was the

appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. So when I saw it,

I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of One speaking.

God Is Holy Nadab and Abihu (Lev. 10:3)

“By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; and before all the people I must be glorified.”

Moses and Aaron (Num. 20:12) Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

Uzzah and the Ark (2 Sam. 6:7) “Then the anger of the LORD was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God.” (David became angry)
