Stewardship: Jump In With Both Feet Many people dip their toe into the water before decid-ing to get into the pool. This is also very true for many of us on our stewardship journey. Some are reluctant to jump in with both feet. However, we must guard against being "lukewarm." In Revelations 3:15-16 it says, "I know your works; you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were cold or hot! So, be-cause you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth." Stewardship takes time — time to talk and listen to God. Stewardship is difficult — it asks that we put God first in everything. Stewardship means taking risks — detaching our-selves from our time, possessions and money. Today is Pente-cost Sunday. Take time to open your hearts, listen to what God has planned for you and jump in with both feet!

"A Prayer for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit" O Spirit of Wisdom, preside over all my thoughts, words and actions. Spirit of Understanding, enlighten and teach me. Spirit of Counsel, direct my inexperience. Spirit of Fortitude, strengthen my weakness. Spirit of Knowledge, instruct my ig-norance. Spirit of Piety, make me fervent in good works. Spirit of Holiness, fill me with your grace, grant me humility and pre-serve me from evil.

Stewardship Awareness “The Counselor, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you.” John 14:26 The materialism of our society lures us to concentrate more on what we want than on what God wants for us and from us. It is good to know that when we are confused by our stewardship responsibilities, we can call on the Holy Spirit to show us the way.

HOLY HOUR FOR VOCATIONS Our parish’s holy hour for vocations is on Tuesdays from 6:00pm - 7:00pm. The rosary at 6:30pm is prayed for this intention. Please consider giving an hour of
