The Cyrus WorkThere are several so-called Bible scholars who thinks that

they know everything there is when it comes to prophecy. Evenministers of God’s true Church, the Philadelphia Church of Godthought that they already know all things. Do they? Before weproceed with the answer, let us consider first HOW TOUNDERSTAND PROPHECY:

“BIBLICAL prophecy has perplexed millions!Many hundreds of volumes have been written –articles, leaflets, tracts printed – thousands ofsermons have been preached – all about Biblicalprophecy!

And yet – look at all the confusion!

Many believe ALL the prophecies were merelythe pronouncements of wild-eyed fanaticscarried away with visions of doom. Still othersbelieve the prophecies are confined to the OldTestament, and are all done away.

Still others preach that MOST Biblical prophecyis for our day – now!

What is the truth?

What Is Prophecy?

The Hebrew word for prophet, navi, means “onewho announces or brings a message from God.”

2 CYRUS AND THE TWO WITNESSES

The word “prophet” in the English languagemeans essentially the same thing – “one whospeaks by divine inspiration as the interpreter orspokesman of God,” whether it be a message ofduty and warning, or a prediction of futureevents. A prophet is one who speaks for God;hence, the prefix pro (from the Greek language –from which our word prophet is derived) whichmeans “for” and “before.” So that a prophet isone who speaks for God, or one who tells before– one who predicts, foretells, prophesies.

Common Misconceptions

Many people falsely assume all prophecies aredire foretellings of catastrophic events, of thewrathful vengeance of a harsh God who is aboutto descend with terrible fury upon His haplesssubjects here below!

This is FAR from the truth!Many of the prophecies foretella time of peace, of happiness,of restoration, of joy, of greatprosperity and physical wealthfor those who are serving God.(Request our free booklet TheWonderful World Tomorrow –What It Will Be Like for adetailed description of theseremarkable prophecies of peaceand prosperity.)

Many prophecies foretell, inadvance, certain events whichare to happen, the rise and fallof nations, the course of worldaffairs! Prophecy is a chronicle of the greatPLAN God is working out here below! Itdescribes this plan in detail, showing how God

knows it will work out, according to humannature, together with other special interventionsof God.

Prophecy is HISTORY written in advance! (pp.3-4, How To Understand Prophecy)

With this in mind, “prophecy being HISTORY written inadvance,” let us ask ourselves then, have we really learned ourlessons about history? Or have we fallen into a “historyrepeating itself” predicament? Even one of the most well-knownGerman historicist philosopher, Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegelwas quoted as saying: “The only thing we learn from historyis that we learn nothing from history.” Could it really be true?

How often have we heard that “history repeatsitself”? It does—time and time again. The Biblecontains many prophetic books, including whatare classified as the “major” and “minor”prophets. There also are “former prophets” in theBible—comprised of Joshua, Judges, I and IIKings and I and II Samuel. These books aremostly about the history of Israel, but they arecalled former prophets for a reason. They werewritten by prophets and are filled with end-timeprophecy. If we live the same lifestyles ourforefathers did, we will attain virtually the sameresults-good or bad. History becomesprophecy. Not all prophecy is history. But alot of history becomes prophecy. Historyprophesies the fate of nations, whether theywill thrive or collapse! This is “a law ofhistory.” It’s not about luck or happenstance.It is a law of history. If we break that law, thelaw breaks us! (p. 3, The Former Prophets –God’s Royal Family)

As Mr. Hegel said that our human proclivity is that weNEVER really learn from history, now does it mean that if we


do not learn from history, we also don’t learn and understandBible prophecy? Just as Mr. Gerald Flurry wrote that historybecomes prophecy and that if we break the law of history, thelaw will eventually break us. Now let us apply that sameprinciple in a prophecy that actually became a part of recordedhistory which NO ONE in God’s Church in this last end hasactually considered – the history and prophecy about Cyrus theGreat.

Prophecy is DUAL! Notice the theme of dualityrunning throughout the Bible. There was the firstman Adam, and the second Adam, who wasChrist (I Cor. 15:45-47). There is the OldTestament, and the New Testament. There wasthe old Jerusalem and a new heavenly Jerusalem.(pp. 11-12, How To Understand Prophecy)

As Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong taught us that there is DUALITYin the fulfillment of Bible prophecies, could the prophecy aboutCyrus just plain history or could it have a dual fulfillment in thisend time as well? Well, the answer is quite simple, it does havea duality!

One of the most astounding things in the bookof Chronicles is its conclusion. Chronicles is thelast book in the Hebrew Bible and appears to bethe last book that was written. We mustremember that the book of Ezra/Nehemiah(originally one book) had been written severalyears before. Notice that Ezra did somethingquite strange: He ended Chronicles with thesame words that begin the book of Ezra!…Then, Ezra concludes the book of Chronicles inverses 22-23 with these words: “Now in the firstyear of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word ofthe Lord spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah mightbe accomplished, the Lord stirred up the spirit ofCyrus king of Persia, that he made aproclamation throughout all his kingdom, and

put it also in writing, saying, Thus saithCyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of theearth hath the Lord God of heaven given me;and he hath charged me to build him anhouse in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who isthere among you of all his people? The Lordhis God be with him, and let him go up.”

Compare those last two verses of 2 Chronicleswith the first three verses of the book of Ezra. 2Chronicles is supposed to be at the end of theOld Testament, but translators placed itelsewhere. Carnal men do things their own way-and that is why their spiritual understanding is solimited. But those men could see that the end ofChronicles points to the beginning ofEzra/Nehemiah. Whywould Ezra concludeChronicles this way?Why would he writeabout the genealogyfrom Adam, then thisoverview from KingDavid down to theBabylonian captivity,then the return andbuilding up of theruins of the templeand the wall, andfinally end it with thefirst verses ofEzra/Nehemiah, a book written much earlier?This puzzles the commentaries. For some reason,as he finished the last book of the OldTestament, Ezra wanted to tie Chronicles toEzra/Nehemiah. What was he trying to do? Theanswer revolves around the message of


Ezra/Nehemiah: raising up the ruins. This issome amazing new revelation from God. AndI believe with all my heart it could only comefrom Jesus Christ, our Head! Christ is the Headof only one Church on this Earth…

Those last two verses in 2 Chronicles showCyrus, the king of Persia, issuing a decree thatthe Jews should return to Jerusalem to build ahouse for God. Jeremiah had prophesied aboutCyrus’s birth and reign years before it evenhappened, and he prophesied that after 70 yearsthe Jews would return to raise the ruins (e.g.Jeremiah 25:12; 29:10).

We ought to look to Cyrus in a special way. Godstirred him up to do a job. Twenty-five hundredyears later, the Shah of Iran celebrated this greatPersian king. He commissioned several crystalcandelabras to adorn the royal tent where thecelebrations were held, two of which the PCGhas since purchased and placed in ArmstrongAuditorium, a house dedicated to the God whoprophesied about Cyrus. Now let us be truthful and ask ourselves: Why do you think Godinspired Ezra to conclude the last book of the Old Testament,Chronicles and tie it up to the introduction of Ezra/Nehemiahwhich spoke about a CYRUS WORK? The answer is quiteclear: God is telling us emphatically that He is also concludingHis LAST END Work with a CYRUS WORK that deals withbringing the spiritual Jews back to Jerusalem to PREPARE forits King and to build God’s spiritual house which is beingdestroyed by the 25 men of Ezekiel 8 by introducing theEdstone work. How can we find this LAST END CYRUSWork?

Consider this amazing facts: The second 1,150 days fulfillmentof the vision of the 2,300 evenings and the mornings of Daniel 8has started on September 5, 2010 when God’s house in Edmond,Oklahoma, the Armstrong Auditorium was inaugurated.Featured on the ground floor lobby are the two 7-footcandelabras that were commissioned by the Shah of Iran in1971 to commemorate the 2,500-year founding anniversary ofthe Persian Empire by Cyrus the Great.

If you count 1,150 days from that September 5, 2010 grandopening of the Armstrong Auditorium, you will arrive atOctober 29, 2013 – the time the LAST END BOOK OFREMEMBRANCE website was launched and the time webegan sending initial emails to the members of the PhiladelphiaChurch of God. But what is so significant about this October 29date?

Cyrus the Great Day or Cyrus Day, October29 (7th of Aban) is the anniversary of theentrance of Cyrus into Babylon. It is named theday of Cyrus The Great by “Save Pasargard”Institute, but is not registered in any national orinternational calendar. Cyrus the Great was thefirst King of Persia, who declared the firstcharter of human rights in the world, also knownas the Cyrus Cylinder. In October 539 BCE, thePersian King Cyrus took Babylon, the ancient


capital of an oriental empire covering modernIraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Israel. Several textsdescribe this event. In the Nabonidus Chronicle,for instance, is written that in the month ofArahsamna, the third day (29 October), Cyrusentered Babylon.

Why is it that this STRANGE WORK of God is being directlyassociated to Cyrus the Great? Is it just by any means a merecoincidence or a specific fulfillment of God’s prophecy for thislast end? What is Mr. Gerald Flurry’s view on this subject?

Notice carefully the date that sermon was given – September 4,2004. Mr. Flurry gave that sermon exactly ONE DAY BEFOREhis wife, Barbara Flurry died on September 5, 2004 due to hercongestive heart failure! Coincidence? NO! Providential? YES!God is going to use Gentiles, i.e., a Cyrus type of work in thecontext of a woman or Church (symbolized by Mrs. Flurry)who is about to die because of the sickness of her heart. Thatis how urgent this last end work is because people in thePhiladelphia Church of God are about to lose their eternal lives!

Cyrus and The Last End Book of RemembranceAs Mr. Gerald Flurry said that God is going to use carnal

minded men to help His work done just like what he did whenhe raised up King Cyrus then. Mr. Flurry further emphasized,“God forbid that we should not believe that! God forbid.”Do we believe that there’s a prophecy about a type of Cyrus,that is, its dual fulfillment in this last end? We must rememberwhat Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong used to tell us that propheciesare usually DUAL in its fulfillment, so same goes with a type ofCyrus in this last end.

“Remember the former things of old: for I amGod, and there is none else; I am God, and thereis none like me,” (Isaiah 46:9)

This verse pertains to a certain act of “remembering the formerthings of old” which in this case, pointing us to a BOOK OFREMEMBRANCE.

“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from


ancient times the things that are not yet done,saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do allmy pleasure:” (Isaiah 46:10)

The word “declaring” in Strong’s Concordance comes from theHebrew word “nagad” (H5046) which means “to manifest, toannounce, to expose, to explain”; while in Brown–Driver–Briggs (BDB) it is defined this way: “to be conspicuous, tomake known, to expound, to publish” “Declaring the END”could mean, to manifest the END, to announce the END, toexpose the END, to explain the END, to make known the END,to expound the END, to PUBLISH the END. Verse 10 of“declaring the END”, is specifically being fulfilled with theprophecies contained in THE LAST END being PUBLISHEDto be conspicuous. Conspicuous in the dictionary means:

1. Easy to notice; obvious:2. Attracting attention, as by being unusual or remarkable; noticeable.

Have you noticed something obvious that has been published about REMEMBERING the former things of oldand explaining the END from the beginning? Verses 9 through 10 is actually a speaking of God’s prophecy about “The Last End – A Book of Remembrance“! Now take a closer look atthe next verse which points us to a LAST END fulfillment of Cyrus:

“Calling a ravenous bird from the east,the man that executeth my counsel from a

far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; Ihave purposed it, I will also do it.” (Isaiah 46:9-11)

This CYRUS has been called by God specifically during THELAST END in the context of a BOOK OF REMEMBRANCEas stated in verses 9 through 10! And where can we find thisspiritual Cyrus? “From the EAST, the man that executesGod’s counsel from a FAR COUNTRY”! The description

“FAR COUNTRY” is being directly associated to the EAST,which actually means a COUNTRY in the FAR EAST as we caneasily prove.

Far East, Middle East, Near East The termFar East usually refers to East Asia, includingMongolia, China, Korea, Japan, and SoutheastAsia. It sometimes includes the Philippines,Indonesia, and the other Oceanic countries, andit sometimes includes eastern Russia and theIndian subcontinent. The Near East is theeastern Mediterranean region once dominated bythe Ottoman Empire. Middle East—the newestof the three terms—originally referred toeverything between the other two Easts(Mesopotamia to Burma), but it now usuallydenotes the Near East in addition to Afghanistan,Iran, and the Arabian peninsula. All three termsare vague, and their Eurocentrism makes themeasy to criticize. Dropping them from thelanguage would be a no-brainer if they weren’tso widely used. Plus, many of the alternativesare even worse (except East Asia, which hasgained ground in place of Far East). So MiddleEast (sometimes shortened to Mideast) and FarEast are still deeply entrenched in the languageand are used across the English-speaking world.Near East is obsolescent, however, as ourmodern definition of Middle East covers muchof what used to be considered the Near East.

The first Cyrus came from Persia which is now called Iran andit is located in the East i.e., the Near East or the Middle East.

Cyrus the Great figures in the Hebrew Bible(Old Testament) as the patron and deliverer ofthe Jews. It appears that Cyrus the Great, king ofPersia, was the monarch under whom thecaptivity of the Jews ended, for in the first yearof his reign he was prompted by God to make adecree that the Temple in Jerusalem should berebuilt and that such Jews as cared to mightreturn to their land for this purpose. Moreover,he showed his interest in the project by sendingback with them the sacred vessels which hadbeen taken from the First Temple. The territoryof King Cyrus during his time was called Persia,in the East. Today, in this modern times, Persia iscalled Iran, and the East is called the Near Eastor the Middle East.

A final fulfillment of Cyrus will come from a “far country” asdescribed in Isaiah 46 which is being referenced from the“East,” specifically the FAR EAST! And this FAR COUNTRY inthe EAST is none other than the PHILIPPINES! Cyrus the Greathas lived before the appearance of Jesus Christ in the flesh(physical). During his time, Cyrus fulfilled the physical aspectof Isaiah 46:11 prophecy, which is the preparation for thephysical appearance or the first coming of the physical humanJesus Christ. Now, since Cyrus the Great is already dead,therefore, he cannot accomplish the final fulfillment of theIsaiah 46:11 prophecy, which is to be fulfilled specificallyduring this LAST END just before the glorious return of theKing of kings Jesus Christ in


His full spiritual power.


ISAIAH 46:11 PROPHECY HAS A DUAL FULFILLMENT: one is PHYSICAL and the other being SPIRITUAL.

1. THE PHYSICAL ASPECT: “A RAVENOUS BIRD FROM THE EAST”

The physical aspect ofIsaiah 46:11 was fulfilledin the time of King Cyrusof Persia (now called Iran).Even the flag that he usedhas a symbol of a goldeneagle with its wingsoutspread. This is the firstpart of Isaiah 46:11, aswritten: “a ravenous birdfrom the East.” Thus, thephysical side of God’sCounsel was revealed to

King Cyrus of the “East,” and was fulfilled by him. Thisrevelation of the physical aspect to King Cyrus was inpreparation for the coming of Jesus Christ as the physical SONOF MAN in the flesh.

2. THE SPIRITUAL ASPECT: “THE MAN THAT EXECUTE MY COUNSEL FROM A FAR COUNTRY.”

The most exciting part of Isaiah 46:11 prophecy is this 2nd partof the verse, which is the spiritual aspect. This spiritual part isto be fulfilled specifically in this LAST END, with thePhilippines as the new focal point in receiving NEWREVELATIONS from our Heavenly Father. Believe it or not, aFilipino from the FAR EAST is the new Cyrus during thisLAST END (Isaiah 42:9, 43:19)! God has planned all of thesethings in preparation for the glorious return of Jesus Christ, asthe SON OF GOD in Spirit, even as the KING of kings, and theLORD


of Lords! There must be a spiritual Cyrus type man living todayin this last end to fulfill Isaiah 46:10-11. And as revealedin several scriptures, this “country from the FAR EAST” isclearly identified as the PHILIPPINES (Isaiah 46:11, 65:1,45:6, 24:15, 2 Corinthians 4:6, Malachi 1:11).

So, the answer to the question, “WHO IS THE RAVENOUSBIRD” in Isaiah 46:11 does not refer to the first physical Cyrusbut to a spiritual type in this LAST END in the context of aBOOK OF REMEMBRANCE. Cyrus the Great was just a typeof this LAST END spiritual Cyrus.

Whether we like it or not this “RAVENOUS BIRD” is a Gentilethat hails from the Philippines — the “Far Country” from the“East.” This Gentile also possesses the characteristics of aravenous bird. The first physical Cyrus was instrumental in thephysical preparation for the rebuilding of the physical temple inphysical Jerusalem where Jesus Christ as the physical SON OFMAN in the flesh came the first time; while its last endcounterpart, this spiritual Cyrus is currently involved in thespiritual preparation for the rebuilding of the spiritual temple inspiritual Jerusalem where Jesus Christ, as the SON OF GOD inspiritual glory, even as the KING of Kings, and the LORD ofLords shall finally come and return to.

“God’s gonna use, I believe, there’s certainsymbolism there to tell us, He’s gonna usecarnal minded men to help this work done. Ifthat’s what we need, we’ll get the help. Could it be a far-fetched idea that God can use Gentiles to helpfinish His Work or even be instrumental in saving His people?


Just consider a RIGHTEOUS GENTILE from the FAR EASTwho planned to save 10,000 European Jews from theHolocaust. The Philippines became the PLACE OF SAFETY forthe fleeing Jews back then. Will you believe it? As Mr. Flurrysaid, “God forbid that we should not believe that! Godforbid.”

“Listen to me, you stubborn people who are sofar from doing right. For I am ready to set thingsright, not in the distant future, but right now! Iam ready to save Jerusalem and show my gloryto Israel. (Isaiah 46:12-13, NLT)

Thou Must ProphesyAgain Before…KINGSAnd he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before

many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings. (Revelation 10:11).

The word “peoples” is transliterated in the Greek as “laos”(G2992) while the word “Laodicean” in Revelation 3:14 is from“Laodikeus” (G2994), which indicates as Mr. Gerald Flurryexplained in one of his sermons that this specific prophecypertained to the phase of God’s work warning the Laodiceansfor seven years with the little book, Malachi’s Message.(Ezekiel 3:15; Revelation 10:2, 9-10)

While as for the next phase of the work, it was focused onacquiring the book of Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong, Mystery of theAges and giving it to the LARGEST AUDIENCE POSSIBLE –to “nations, and tongues.” Mr. Flurry then decided to print anddistribute the book explaining the mystery of God which oughtto be finished that resulted to a grueling six-year court battlebetween the Worldwide Church of God and the PhiladelphiaChurch of God over the copyright issue. (Revelation 10:7)

What’s the next phase of God’s work? On Oct. 18, 2006,Stephen Flurry accompanied the Herbert W. Armstrong Collegestudents to not only excavate King David’s palace, but also torevive Mr. Armstrong’s legacy which according to Mr. Gerald


Flurry is a fulfillment of the prophecy in Isaiah – “say unto thecities of Judah, Behold your God!” (Isaiah 40:9) Stephen evenwrote an article in the Trumpet magazine about the Jerusalemdig being a PREPARATION for the KING of kings, JesusChrist. He even emphasized that “THE JERUSALEMEXCAVATIONS WILL CONTINUE RIGHT ON INTO THEMILLENNIUM.” (p. 9, The Philadelphia Trumpet, May 2007issue)

The KINGS being mentioned in verse 11 of Revelation chapter10 actually refer to those who do God’s Work. How can we beso sure? Consider Revelation 11:1 and there should be nochapter break here, which means that the thought in theprevious verse pertaining to the KINGS will have to be peopleinside God’s Church.

“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod:and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measurethe temple of God, and the altar, and them thatworship therein.”

Are God’s people really the KINGS being mentioned in verse11 whom the prophecy should be directed to and NOT to the

kings of this world, NOT even the queen of Britain? Can itreally be true?

“And hath made us KINGS and priests unto Godand his Father; to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (Rev. 1:6)

In God’s eyes we are already KINGS and priests. As we havealso been warned in Revelation 3:11,

“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thouhast, that NO MAN TAKE THY CROWN.”

Apparently, many of God’s people are losing their crowns, that’swhy God’s warning has to be delivered to those KINGS inGod’s Church. God is not that much concerned with the kings ofthis world. What He is more concerned about are the KINGS inembryo, for how can the prophecy in Revelation 17:14 happen?

“These shall make war with the Lamb, and theLamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord oflords, and King of KINGS: and they that arewith him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

Who are these KINGS being mentioned here? It’s none otherthan the KINGS inside God’s Church! (Revelation 19:16) Howcan Jesus Christ become the King of KINGS if the CROWNSof those supposed to be occupying the positions as KINGS arebeing taken from them by the 25 men of Ezekiel 8?

“And there was given me a reed like unto a rod:and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measurethe temple of God, and the altar, and them thatworship therein.” (Revelation 11:1)

That is the reason why God inspired the word “RISE” from theGreek word “egeirō”

Probably akin to the base of G58 (through theidea of collecting one’s faculties); to waken(transitively or intransitively), that is, rouse(literally from sleep, from sitting or lying, fromdisease, from death; or figuratively from


obscurity, inactivity, ruins, nonexistence): –awake, lift (up), raise (again, up), rear up, (a-)rise (again, up), stand, take up.

The Two Witnesses: Shatters the Power of the Holy PeopleThen I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the

one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on thatside of the bank of the river. And one said to the man clothed inlinen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall itbe to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed inlinen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held uphis right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by himthat liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half;and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of theholy people, all these things shall be finished. (Daniel 12:5-7)

“Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other TWO” –those TWO refer to the two witnesses and their job is to “scatter(or shatter) the power of the holy people” which is God’sChurch – the Philadelphia Church of God because theirCROWNS being God’s KINGS are being taken away from them.And how is the shattering of their power being done today?Through God’s BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE! But are we reallysure that this prophecy is directed to the PCG?


“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, andwent to make war with the remnant of her seed,which keep the commandments of God, andhave the testimony of Jesus Christ.” (Revelation12:17)

Are there any COG groups that can fit the description who“keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony (orprophecy) of Jesus Christ” thus making them the “holy people”being described by the prophet Daniel? Why does God sent thetwo witnesses to shatter the power of the holy people? BecauseSatan the devil is fuming mad against God’s Church and hewent to make WAR with her.

The word “war” comes from the Greek word “polēmos”(G4171) in Strong’s Concordance:

From pelomai (to bustle); warfare (literally or figuratively; asingle encounter or a series): – battle, fight, war.

In the dictionary here is the meaning of BUSTLE –

· : to have a lot of busy activity· : to move briskly and often ostentatiously

OSTENTATION –

· : an unnecessary display of wealth, knowledge,etc., that is done to attract attention, admiration, or envy

Look at what Satan had done, he was able to saturate God’speople with so much activity making themselves SO BUSY thatthey don’t have the time anymore to study their Bibles, even tofast and meditate on the NEW UNDERSTANDING about theBOOK OF REMEMBRANCE. Look at Christ’s own words as Heuttered a warning to God’s people for our generation.

“And take heed to yourselves, lest at any timeyour hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and

drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so thatday come upon you unawares. For as a snareshall it come on all them that dwell on the faceof the whole earth.” (Luke 21:34-35)

Satan was able to successfully creep inside God’s Churchbecause of the vanity of the drunkards of Ephraim when theychose Edstone over Jerusalem (Zechariah 3:1-2, 8) in order “toattract attention, admiration, or envy” among the other Churchof God groups. Edstone as defined by Mr. Gerald Flurry means,“a rich, blessed or prosperous ruler.”

Add to that the excessive display of pretentiousness through theseveral musical plays with Irish dancing at the helm (Jeremiahthe Musical, David the Musical, Isaiah the Musical, TheMorning Star Musical)

“And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judahhath not turned unto me with her whole heart,but feignedly, saith the Lord.” (Jeremiah 3:10)

Again Judah in this prophecy is actually the PhiladelphiaChurch of God. The word “feign” in the dictionary means:

· to pretend to feel or be affected by (something)· pretend, dissemble· 1 a: to give a false appearance of : induce as a false impression b: to assert as if true : pretend· 2 a: invent, imagine b: to give fictional representation to· 3 obsolete: disguise, conceal

As the PCG wants an EXCESSIVE DISPLAY of wealth andknowledge to “attract attention, admiration, or envy among theother Church of God groups with Edstone, and with severalmusicals, God has a strange act in mind to correct the situation– He intends to HIDE His power so as NOT to attract that muchattention (Habakkuk 3:4). And He chose His witnesses to becloth in humility and austerity – the very opposite of what thePCG is currently doing.


“And I will give power unto my two witnesses,and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundredand threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.”

Notice that the word “power” is in italics, therefore it is not inthe original Greek texts, so if we will consider the othermeaning of the word “give”:

“And I will bring forth my two witnesses, andthey shall prophesy a thousand two hundred andthreescore days, clothed in sackcloth Why willGod bring forth His witnesses? Again, because“there was the hiding of His power” (Habakkuk3:4). Even the word “sackcloth” indicates aconcealment (emphasis mine in bold).

Thayer Definition: sakkos – garment likematerial, and clinging to the person like a sack,which was wont (accustomed) to be worn (ordrawn over the tunic instead of the cloak ormantle) by mourners, penitents, suppliants andalso by those who like Hebrew prophets, lead anaustere life.

Austere in the dictionary means:

· Having no adornment or ornamentation; bare:· without excess, luxury, or ease: an austere life.· without ornament or adornment; severely simple:· severely simple or plain:

Therefore, the two witnesses are to be clothed in severesimplicity; without excess, luxury, or ease; without ornament oradornment. Compare that with what Mr. Flurry wrote:

“And I will give power unto my two witnesses,and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundredand threescore days, clothed in sackcloth”(Revelation 11:3). Here are two witnessesclothed in sackcloth. I have no idea whothey’re going to be, but I know they will be


two very humble men, and one of them will bein charge. If God sent two of these “seniorevangelists,” they would be fighting over whowas to be in charge! What do you do with agovernment like that? It fails every time! (p.71, Unveiled at Last: The Royal Book ofRevelation)

How do we do God’s Work? “Then he answeredand spake unto me, saying, This is the word ofthe Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might,nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord ofhosts” (Zechariah 4:6). It is a hard lesson formen to learn that God’s Work is done not byhigh-ranking evangelists or money, but byGod’s Holy Spirit! God’s Holy Spirit flowsthrough the two witnesses.

Do we really know why there is a need for PROPHECY?

Why Was Prophecy Written? God inspired hisProphet Amos to tell us, “The Lord Eternal neverdoes anything without telling his servants theprophets” (Amos 3:7, Moffatt translation).Before God intervenes in the affairs of a nation,or the world, He first sends His servants to warnthose who will be directly affected by what Heintends to do. Why does He do this? To givethem a chance to CHANGE their ways – toREPENT of their sins – so that the prophesiedcalamity need not come to pass. God is

absolutely fair, just and righteous. He sends aWARNING, and gives people a chance to repent.The purpose of prophecy, therefore, is threefold.First, it is given in love to encourage people torepent of their sins so they can escapepunishment. Second, it is given for those whodon’t repent at first, so that when theirpunishment comes, they will then acknowledgetheir sins and repent toward the God who willthen deliver and rescue them! (Deut. 4:25-31.)Third, it announces in advance the comingKingdom of God, the wonderful world tomorrow– a time of the restoration of this earth to acondition of prosperity, peace and abundantwell-being. God gives prophecy because of His AGAPE (LOVE). Now whatcould be this NEW THING that God has to declare in the contextof His love? Let us consider Isaiah 45:1-2;

“Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus,whose right hand I have holden, to subduenations before him; and I will loose the loins ofkings, to open before him the two leaved gates;and the gates shall not be shut; I will go beforethee, and make the crooked places straight: I willbreak in pieces the gates of brass, and cut insunder the bars of iron:

Look closely at this prophecy, there are actually TWO entitiesbeing addressed here:

1. To His anointed; and2. To Cyrus

How can we be so sure? Look closely at verse 4 and begin todecipher the coded message contained therein:

“For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mineelect, I have even called thee by thy name: I


have surnamed thee, though thou hast not knownme.” (Isaiah 45:4)

Who is Jacob being mentioned here? And who is Israel? Theseare God’s anointed – the two witnesses which are hidden inthose names!

“One shall say, I am the Lord‘s; and anothershall call himself by the name of Jacob; andanother shall subscribe with his hand unto theLord, and surname himself by the name ofIsrael.” (Isaiah 44:5)

And God called a last end Cyrus for their SAKE! The word“sake” in verse 4 is defined in Strong’s Concordance this way:

From H6030; properly heed, that is, purpose;used only adverbially, on account of (as a motiveor an aim), teleologically in order that: –becauseof, to the end (intent) that, for (to.. ‘s sake), +lest, that, to.

What is Jacob’s and Israel’s PURPOSE? What is their INTENT?The two witnesses are the men behind The Last End – A Book ofRemembrance, and yet they are to be concealed – clothed insackcloth, the reason God called a LAST END Cyrus by name tohelp fulfill Jacob’s and Israel’s purpose.

“Verily thou art a God that hidest thyself, O Godof Israel, the Saviour.” (Isaiah 45:15)

One of the two witnesses “call himself by the name of Jacob.”What does the name “Jacob” implies in this verse? Jacob means“a supplanter.” “Supplant” in the dictionary means: to take theplace of someone; to take the place of and serve as a substitute.Remember that Jacob took the place or the identity of hisbrother Esau (Edom) to claim the birthright blessings of afirstborn from their father Isaac which the latter sold to theformer for a bowl of soup (Genesis 25:30-34); The same waythat the identity of Phinehas has been taken to do just the same– to claim the birthright blessings (of Jerusalem) which thespiritual Edomites in the PCG sold for a bowl of soup


(Edstone). While the other witness has “surname himself by thename of Israel.” And God calls Jacob and Israel His witnesses!

“Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I toldthee from that time, and have declared it? ye areeven my witnesses. Is there a God beside me?yea, there is no God; I know not any.” (Isaiah44:8)

Those two witnesses are just ordinary people in God’s Churchwhich God has formed for a special purpose – to show forthHis praise through a BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE – and that ishow they shall be justified!

“This people have I formed for myself; theyshall shew forth my praise. But thou hast notcalled upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast beenweary of me, O Israel. Thou hast not brought methe small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neitherhast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I havenot caused thee to serve with an offering, norwearied thee with incense. Thou hast bought meno sweet cane with money, neither hast thoufilled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thouhast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hastwearied me with thine iniquities. I, even I, am hethat blotteth out thy transgressions for mine ownsake, and will not remember thy sins. Put me inremembrance: let us plead together: declarethou, that thou mayest be justified.” (Isaiah43:21-26)

Now here is a very awe inspiring truth that NO ONE in God’sChurch can refute: On October 29, 2014, exactly one year afterthe first year anniversary of the 2nd 1,150 day fulfillment of thevision of the 2,300 evenings and the mornings of Daniel8, coincided with the annual celebration of Cyrus the GreatDay:

This Day In History: October 29, 539 B.C.E.On October 29, 539 B.C.E., Cyrus the Great,King of Persia, entered the city of Babylon andproclaimed himself “King of Babylon, King ofSumer and Akkad, King of the four corners ofthe world.” He came bearing the Cyrus Cylinder,the first Charter of Human Rights, which heplaced under the walls of Babylon. Hewas reasonable, intelligent, and felt nocompulsion to wrap himself in a cloak ofmajesty. The Persians called him “Father.” TheJews, who were exiled in Babylon until Cyruscame to town and freed them, praised him as“The Lord’s anointed.” Even the Greeks, theancient enemies of the Persians, regarded Cyrusas “A worthy ruler and lawgiver.” So why wasCyrus so revered and genuinely loved by thosehe ruled? It’s not hard to fathom when youimagine him speaking these words to the citizensof Babylon the day he entered the city:

On Cyrus the Great Day, that very day, the office of the spiritualCyrus has been lifted up in the wilderness as God’s shepherd,which implies that this prophecy is being fulfilled by aMINISTER of God in this LAST END in the context of a BOOKOF REMEMBRANCE (Isaiah 46:9-11).




“That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, andshall perform all my pleasure: even saying toJerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple,Thy foundation shall be laid.” (Isaiah 44:28)

So this specific prophecy is NOT referring to the firstfulfillment of the physical Cyrus for he is not a shepherd or aminister to begin with. This last end Gentile spiritual Cyrusfrom the FAR EAST together with the two witnesses has beencommissioned to tread under foot spiritual Jerusalem(Philadelphia Church of God Headquarters in Edmond,Oklahoma)

This prophecy is very much the same as what has been writtenin Daniel chapter 12:

“Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stoodother two, the one on this side of the bank of theriver, and the other on that side of the bank ofthe river. And one said to the man clothed inlinen, which was upon the waters of the river,How long shall it be to the end of thesewonders? Many of God’s people around the world are wondering aboutthis STRANGE WORK of God in this LAST END. They said,“This group of people behind the BOOK OF REMEMBRANCEbelieve that Mr. Herbert W. Armstrong is the end-time Elijahwho restored all things.” “They also believe that Mr. Gerald R.Flurry is That Prophet.” Yet almost everyone inside God’sChurch cannot reconcile why we are prophesying against thePhiladelphia Church of God and their top 25 leading ministerswho turned their backs on God. We are NOT here to destroyGod’s Church, we are commissioned by our Heavenly Father toSHATTER THE POWER OF THE HOLY PEOPLE. The word“POWER” in Strong’s Concordance can also mean “MINISTRY”– thus, we are here to SHATTER THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLYPEOPLE, and that is, the 25 men of Ezekiel 8.

God’s Strange WorkFor the Lord shall rise up as in mount Perazim, he shall be

wroth as in the valley of Gibeon, that he may do his work, hisstrange work; and bring to pass his act, his strange act (Isaiah28:21). Let us consider what Matthew Henry Commentarywrote regarding this verse:

God will be glorified in the accomplishment ofhis counsels, Isa 28:21. When God comes tocontend with these scorners, First, He will do hiswork, and bring to pass his act, he will work forhis own honour and glory, according to his ownpurpose; the work shall appear to all that seeit to be the work of God as the righteousJudge of the earth. Secondly, He will do it nowagainst his people, as formerly he did it againsttheir enemies, by which his justice will appear tobe impartial; he will now rise up againstJerusalem as, in David’s time, against thePhilistines in Mount Perazim (2Sa 5:20), andas, in Joshua’s time, against the Canaanites inthe valley of Gibeon. If those that professthemselves members of God’s church by theirpride and scornfulness make themselves likePhilistines and Canaanites, they must expectto be dealt with as such. Thirdly, This will behis strange work, his strange act, his foreigndeed. It is work that he is backward to: he ratherdelights in showing mercy, and does not afflict


willingly. It is work that he is not used to as tohis own people; he protects and favours them. Itis a strange work indeed if he turn to be theirenemy and fight against them, ch. 63:10. It isa work that all the neighbours will standamazed at (Deu 29:24), and therefore the ruinsof Jerusalem are said to be an astonishment, Jer25:18.

Let us further understand by reading from Barnes Commentary:

For the Lord shall rise up – To rise up isindicative of going forth to judgment, as whenone rises from his seat to accomplishanything.As in mount Perazim–There isreference here, doubtless, to the event recordedin 2Sa 5:20-21, and 1Ch 14:11, where David issaid to have defeated the Philistines at Baal-Perazim. This place was near to the valley ofRephaim 2Sa 5:19, and not far from Jerusalem.The word ‘Perazim’ is from פרץ pârats, to tear, orbreak forth, as waters do that have beenconfined; and is indicative of sudden judgment,and of a complete overthrow. It was on thataccount given to the place where David obtaineda signal and complete victory 2Sa 5:20; and it ishere referred to, to denote that God wouldcome forth in a sudden manner to destroyJerusalem and Judea. He would come uponthem like bursting waters, and sweep them awayto a distant land.

As in the valley of Gibeon – In 1Ch 14:16, it issaid that after the victory of Baal-Perazim,‘David smote the host of the Philistines fromGibeon even to Gaza.’ This victory is doubtlessreferred to here, and not the victory of Joshuaover the Gibeonites Jos 10:10, as Vitringa andothers suppose.

That he may do his work, his strange work–Thisis called his strange work because it would beinflicted on his people. He had destroyed theirenemies often, but now he was about to engagein the unusual work of coming forth against hisown people, and sweeping them away to adistant land. The work of judgment andpunishment may be called the “strange” workof God always, inasmuch as it is not that inwhich he delights to engage, and is foreign tothe benevolence of his heart. It is especially sowhen his own people are the objects of hisdispleasure, and when their sins are such as todemand that he should visit them with thetokens of his wrath.

For emphasis, as Matthew Henry and Barnes commentarieswrote that God shall rise up and it is “indicative of going forthto judgment, as when one rises from his seat to accomplishanything.” So this last end STRANGE WORK is “indicative ofGod’s sudden judgment and of a complete overthrow… todenote that God would come forth in a sudden manner todestroy Jerusalem and Judea. He would come upon them likebursting waters, and sweep them away to a distant land.” Thisstrange work is the same STORMY WIND IN GOD’S FURY asprophesied by the prophet Ezekiel. Again, why was it called aSTRANGE WORK of God? “This is called his strange workbecause it would be inflicted on his people. He had destroyedtheir enemies often, but now he was about to engage in theunusual work of coming forth against his own people, andsweeping them away to a distant land… It is especially sowhen his own people are the objects of his displeasure, andwhen their sins are such as to demand that he should visitthem with the tokens of his wrath.”

Why would God be FUMING MAD against His own people inthis LAST END (Daniel 8:19)? To cite an example of one of thereasons WHY God has this great INDIGNATION against His ownpeople and HOW STRANGE this last end work is; A PCG


minister in HQ, Bryan Davis was wondering in one of his Biblestudies about our group’s claim that ALL ministers are DRUIDSexcept Mr. Gerald Flurry. Just notice how ignorant he was ingiving such a comment and how STRANGE this work is: Thislittle group does not claim that ALL of the PCG ministers areDRUIDS – it is prophesied that there are ONLY 25 of them andthey are leading God’s people astray by introducing thedoctrines of Balaam and the Nicolaitans, while on the otherhand, it’s good to hear that he mentioned that we have notincluded Mr. Gerald Flurry of being a Druid, moreover, we stillbelieve that he is God’s servant in this last hour. Most of God’speople cannot easily comprehend just how BIZARRE this LASTEND Work is. Yes,

the Philadelphia Church of God are holding fast to Mr.Armstrong’s teachings about keeping God’s commandments,they have the testimony of Jesus Christ which is the spirit ofprophecy, and they also have God’s government to begin with(Revelation 12:17), so why is there a need for this STRANGEWORK.

God has chosen Jerusalem! And we need to understandwhat that all means. Now, Esther played a key role in this.That’s the point. Let me just quickly read something to youfrom Herbert W. Armstrong. He wrote a letter to the church onMarch 19, 1981, and here’s what it said in part: “Zerubbabelbuilt the second temple to which Jesus came the first time. Johnthe Baptist prepared the way before the first coming. But whowas to build the SPIRITUAL temple to which Christ shall sooncome the second time? Who was to prepare the way before HisSecond Coming? Remember, God does things in dual stages. AsZerubbabel built the first temple of MATERIAL stone—woodand other material—he was a FORERUNNER or a type of onethrough whom Christ would raise up or build the SPIRITUALtemple, His Church, of our time, prior to the Day of the Lordand Christ’s Second Coming.

As John the Baptist prepared the way in thephysical wilderness of the Jordan River for thefirst coming of the human Jesus—both man andGod—then coming to His MATERIAL templeand to the PHYSICAL people, Judah, announcingthe kingdom of God to be set up more than 1900years later. So God would use a HUMANmessenger in the SPIRITUAL wilderness of 20thcentury religious confusion to be a voice cryingout the gospel of the kingdom of God, about thespiritual Christ coming in supreme power andglory to His spiritual temple to actually establishthe spiritual kingdom of God. The plan wasn’tfinished, but it broke down there, and that’swhere Esther comes in. And Esther was usedby God to REJUVENATE that plan and get


more people back to Jerusalem, andespecially some critical people to do the Workof God and make sure that Jerusalem wasbuilt, and also a wall was built around it.Now, this is all a great VISION of what is comingin the future. And that plan had broken down,and God used Esther to get it GOING again, toREJUVENATE it so that He could work His planand get His message out to this world, thatwonderful hope that we all should be inspiredby. Queen Esther’s real name is Hadassah. She took that name tohide her true identity. The same is true today of the twowitnesses. This LAST END Work of God is typified by whatQueen Esther did to REJUVENATE the plan to buildJerusalem and to get more people back to it because “theJews didn’t WANT to go ahead and build Jerusalem.” Nowhas that happened even during our lifetime? Notice verse 15 (Esther 4): “Then Esther badethem return Mordecai this answer, (16) Go,gather together all the Jews that are present inShushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nordrink three days, night or day:” so there was along fast there, and “I also and my maidens willfast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king,which is not according to the law: and if Iperish, I perish.” Now, what a wonderfulATTITUDE that was! doing this.” But she just said, “If I perish, Iperish. If I die, I die, because I’m servingGod’s purpose, and I’m serving His plan, andI’m getting His message out to people, myown people who need to understand it,” andwhat faith and what courage that lady had! God’s Peculiar TreasureJust like Queen Esther, this LAST END Work was established

by God to REJUVENATE the plan to build Jerusalem and toget more people back to it because the spiritual Jews DIDN’TWANT to go ahead and prepare Jerusalem for its KING. Godis doing through a BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE.

“Then they that feared the Lord spake often oneto another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it,and a book of remembrance was written beforehim for them that feared the Lord, and thatthought upon his name. And they shall be mine,saith the Lord of hosts, in that day when I makeup my jewels; and I will spare them, as a manspareth his own son that serveth him. (Malachi3:16-17)

God is now making up His jewels as the BOOK OFREMEMBRANCE made its appearance in this LAST END. Andnotice carefully, that it is also in this context when God sparesthis little group from Satan’s wrath. There would be no Churchof God group, not even the Philadelphia Church of God, whocan claim its association to God’s BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE.With the book already on the scene, God says that He will beable to know who are His and who are not.

“Then shall ye return, and discern between therighteous and the wicked, between him thatserveth God and him that serveth him not.”(Malachi 3:16-18)

In Malachi 3:17 God is saying, “In that day when I make up Myjewels, I am going to remember those people who are behindthe BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE, and spare them.” The word“jewel” from Strong’s Concordance is the Hebrew word“segullah” which means “peculiar treasure.” It’s like God issaying, “Those peculiar people who supports the BOOK OFREMEMBRANCE Work truly fear and think about Me – theywill become My peculiar treasure.” Are you a part of God’sjewels or His very special treasure?

“For you are a holy people, who belong to theLord your God. Of all the people on earth, theLord your God has chosen you to be his ownspecial treasure!” (Deuteronomy 7:6, NIV)

We should not misunderstand what God wants to convey withthe prophecies in verses 16 to 18: One can claim that he or sheis a member of God’s true Church, yet not be a part of God’speculiar treasure. God is not talking here about being in the trueChurch of God, but about becoming one of God’s dearest ones.It is one thing to be called a member of God’s Church, it isanother thing to be a part of God’s peculiar treasure. Most of ushave a circle of people that we call our “friends.” Yet many havea smaller circle of friends to whom they would offer their lives.They are what we call “real friends.” God has that elite group ofpeople too. It is said of Abraham, “he was the friend of God.”God said of David, “he is a man after My own heart.” He said ofJohn the Baptist, “among those born of women there is no onegreater.” About John the Beloved it is said, “He was the disciplewhom Jesus loved.” Notice carefully that God has two groupsof people: There are those who are just saved and then there arethose whom God calls His peculiar treasure – His “segullah.”The word “segullah” has also been used in Exodus 19:5,

VOICE indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure (segullah) unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:”

There is a condition before we can become a part of this elitegroup. We have to OBEY God’s voice through the BOOK OFREMEMBRANCE in this LAST END and NOT a voice thatdeclares from Dan. (Jeremiah 4:15) Those in the PhiladelphiaChurch of God could either just be saved or if they will chooseto support the BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE they will become apart of God’s segullah. Now you may choose to become a partof that peculiar treasure of God. So why just sit there and waitfor the fulfillment of God’s prophecies come to pass before youreyes and repent later? The reward will be much different than ifyou decide prior to the actual fulfillment.

In his book Mystery of the Ages, Mr. Herbert W. Armstrongcalled God’s Church as a TEACHERS’ COLLEGE, and while thatis true, God has used the little book, Malachi’s Message as HisCOLLEGE TEXTBOOK to be used by His people in the finalyears in that teachers’ college. Yet in God’s educational system,there is also a deeper form of learning like a post-graduatemaster’s degree which according to Wikipedia, is “an academicdegree granted to individuals who have undergone studydemonstrating a mastery or high-order overview of a specificfield of study or area of professional practice.” God also has acounterpart spiritual master’s degree course being offered rightnow: The Last End – A Book of Remembrance. You may thinkthat you already made it into His teachers’ college by being amember of the Philadelphia Church of God; well that is good.But wouldn’t it be a wonderful thing if you could get into God’smaster’s degree course – you being a part of His peculiartreasure? Let’s hope and pray that we are one of God’s peculiartreasure, His segullah.

Wouldn’t it be such a marvelous thing if God could say thisabout us, “You are My peculiar treasure“? God has that peculiartreasure of people – those of the inner circle – those like Peter,James and John, the twelve apostles, those who make God so


delighted, so happy and well pleased. Thus, God will say of us,“They are My segullah, My peculiar treasure.” Now how doyou become a part of His peculiar treasure? How do you getinto His inner group, His special treasure? In line with thisunderstanding about God’s peculiar treasure, let us consideragain the prophecy concerning God’s anointed and Cyrus:

“Thus saith the Lord to his anointed, to Cyrus,whose right hand I have holden, to subduenations before him; and I will loose the loins ofkings, to open before him the two leaved gates;and the gates shall not be shut;”

What are those “two leaved gates” being referred to here? Andwhat are these gates for?

“And I will give thee the treasures of darkness,and hidden riches of secret places, that thoumayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee bythy name, am the God of Israel.” (Isaiah 45:1, 3)

The word “treasures” (otsar) that was used here is different fromthe one that was in Malachi 3:17 (segullah); while the word“darkness” comes from the Hebrew word “chosek” (H2822)meaning, the dark; hence (literally) darkness; figurativelymisery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness: –dark(-ness), night, obscurity

“obscure” in the dictionary means:

· Not readily noticed or seen; inconspicuous:· Not clearly understood or expressed; ambiguous (doubtful or uncertain:) or vague:· To make difficult to discern mentally or understand:

“The treasures of darkness” could most appropriately be termedas “TREASURES IN DARKNESS” and they refer to God’speople:

· who are in ignorance of what is happening inside God’sChurch because they neglect God’s warning through the BOOK


OF REMEMBRANCE

· who are in wickedness because they may have learned about the abominations injected with the doctrines of Balaam (Irish dance, Mother’s Day, Cremation) and the Nicolaitans Turnabout Dating in their midst and yet they put a blind eye on it.

· who does not readily notice or see God’s hand in the BOOK OFREMEMBRANCE

· who has not clearly understood God’s prophecies in the LASTEND or who remained doubtful or uncertain if the BOOK OFREMEMBRANCE really comes from God because they say thereis no AUTHOR written in it.

· who made themselves and the others difficult to discern orunderstand the NEW REVELATIONS because they did not wantto listen to what God’s Spirit is saying to them through theLAST END Work.

As long as the Philadelphia Church of God ministers andmembers alike adhere to the NO CONTACT POLICY, they willcontinue to be in DARKNESS. As the apostle John wrote:

“He who says he is in the light and hates hisbrother is in the darkness still. He who loves hisbrother abides in the light, and in it there is nocause for stumbling. But he who hates hisbrother is in the darkness and walks in thedarkness, and does not know where he is going,because the darkness has blinded his eyes.” (1John 2:9-11, RSV)

Now the 25 leading PCG ministers have turned their backson God. They do not know where they are going. They werealready in the land of Israel to prepare Jerusalem for Christ’sSecond Coming, but what happened? They went instead to aland that they know not (Jeremiah 14:18). We need to understand our spiritual conditionapart from God. We are prisoners of Satan in adark pit without any water! (Water is a type ofGod’s Spirit.) This is the normal condition ofman without God’sHoly Spirit.

Unless we have and useGod’s Holy Spirit, weare prisoners of Satanin a dark pit withoutany water! Whathorrifying darkness.God vividly describesour hopeless andterrifying spiritualcondition without theuse of His powerfulSpirit! Remember thatfrightening anddespicable descriptionof those in captivity toSatan.

It takes the power of God’s Spirit to bring us outof the spiritual pit. That Spirit keeps us focusedon the bloody price paid so we could enter intothe New Covenant. We must view Christ’s


sacrifice as God does. Only God’s Spirit makesthat possible. Then God’s spiritual food,including new revelation, flows into God’s trueChurch. (p. 67,Zechariah – The Sign of Christ’sImminent Return, 2012 edition)

Are you in darkness over the new revelation about the BOOKOF REMEMBRANCE? If your answer is yes, then ask God formore of His Holy Spirit, lest we become “prisoners of Satan ina dark pit without any water!” Let us honestly ask ourselves:Where do I belong? Am I a part of God’s PECULIARTREASURE or part of the TREASURES IN DARKNESS? This isthe reason why this LAST END Work is also called, the LIGHTOF THE GENTILES to become the conduit of God’s light to beshed to those spiritual treasures in darkness inside God’sChurch:

“I the Lord have called thee in righteousness,and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee,and give thee for a covenant of the people, for alight of the Gentiles; To open the blind eyes, tobring out the prisoners from the prison, andthem that sit in darkness out of the prisonhouse. The name Cyrus is a Latin transliteration of theGreek language, which is a version of the OldPersian Kourosh or Khorvash. The ancienthistorians Ctesias and Plutarch noted that Cyruswas named from Kuros, the sun, a concept thathas been interpreted as meaning “like the sun,”by noting its relation to the Persian noun for sun,khorsheed, while using -vash as a suffix oflikeness.

For all the mockers out there, consider this irrefutable truth ofGod that has already been etched in HISTORY: The two 7-footcandelabras that were commissioned by the Shah of Iran in1971 to commemorate the 2,500-year founding anniversary ofthe Persian Empire by Cyrus the Great first dwelled in God’shouse, the Ambassador Auditorium built by Mr. Herbert W.Armstrong and inaugurated on April 7, 1974. Then it found itsnew home in the Armstrong Auditorium built by Mr. Gerald R.Flurry and inaugurated last September 5, 2010. CAN YOU UNDERSTAND the heaven and earth shakingfulfillment of that PROPHECY?
